This is actually one of the most memorable game cutscenes (for me). It's such a hilarious moment when he smashes through the window, nobody knows what to do, and then he's dragged back out, lol.

My first thought is “yeah they straight up murdered that news helicopter crew” but then my second thought is “why tf were they flying around the middle of a fireworks show?”

Being thrown around on a cable wire like that would've shattered at least half the bones in his body.

I'd like to credit my five year old son as my inspiration for my work on the project. Running around loudly exclaiming " whoosh, boochsh, eeeard, vroooom" while slamming his helicopter everywhere really led the vision for this cinematic masterpiece.

1:14 The pilot of the heli actually bolts out unharmed. This a small detail I appreciate.

To be fair, Hardline was ment to emulate the typical, tv cop thriller / drama that was all the rage at the time (usually lasting only a season) and I think they nailled it.

Man, you missed the freeze button. That was the highlight of that scene where he just awkwardly says "freeze?"

God I miss this game , probably one of the best underrated fps games , hardline multiplayer was so freakin fun with all the cool maps , Easter eggs & customization

*Hot Take:* Hardline was my favorite Battlefield game and a severely underrated gem, not only because of the Cops-and-Robbers action movie theme, but also because you could play on larger vehicle maps without fear of being blown up by tanks lurking around every corner.

Battlefield Hardline was a gem of a game

This Is One of the best cutscene ever made in a video game. The soldier looking at you After Mendoza Smash the Window Is the perfect way to describe the insanity of the situation. It seems that all the people that are in the cutscene, from the pilot of the helicopter to the enemies, are all sayng "WTF is going on?" Like the protagonists 😅 really underrated story mode! unlike other game, Hardline had a soul and a clear identity. Really deserve more consideration!

Hardline was a love letter to those Hollywood-esque action and cop movies, so it's clearly intentional. Such an entertaining game. The fan's overwhelming and unjustified critics harmed the game a lot. Never ceases to amaze me how players prefered 2042 to Hardline.

This game can be described as watching a movie while not thinking too much about it and enjoying the popcorn.

In all honestly that was an extremely entertaining sequence. That seemed like it was really fun for them to make.

Some excellent first-person camera work here! It actually looks and feels like there's a body attached, and not just a floating pair of arms like in most FPS games.

This game ironically had one of the best campaigns in the series. Way better than what BF4 and V gave us

I honestly like how with Hardline they made it so the game wasn't meant to mimic IRL policing, it literally both works in an episodic fashion and clearly states it's meant to base itself off hollywood (tv and movie) policing. Good game would play again.

One of the most underrated bf games, its up there as one of my favourites it got roo much hate for moving away from the soldiers and to the Cops/Robbers area. It also has some of my favourite game modes in the series

The way they started shooting 😆 Held down the trigger before even aiming and slowly raised the rifles.

I never forget the soldiers who start blasting before the gun is raised towards the player.

I will admit,Hardline's story is quite good especially with the TV series esthetics when you quit and when you're continuing where you left off

This campaign is one of the best to me, it's just fun! And story is simple but what to expect.

I refuse to believe ALL of the main characters would survive that ordeal.

Hardline's multiplayer after its release was sooooo much fun, it may be my favorite Battlefield multiplayer experience I cannot lie

Judging by the game being a spin-off of the franchise famous for people jumping off fighter jet and shooting enemy jet with RPGs or using C4 to make tank fly across buildings. This is normal.

While I really disliked Hardline, I mostly enjoyed the Campaign and hope the next Battlefield takes notes from it. Tap and Tyson may not be Dima or Irish tier characters, but they’re pretty close imo.

I love how funny this game is. It's literally meant to be a goofy Miami Vice kinda thing, and it pulls it off so well. Also, that tower is shaped like The Marker from Dead Space.

i like how they went from your typical Holywood film running from some organization to oppsie daisy your wire were stuck to this heli to swing and smash around building to that ackward silence then gracefully fall to that hard concrete and shrug it off as if it was a usual things while the background were so chaotic

This is the only Battlefield campaign I legitimately enjoyed. Probably because it was actually filled with really entertaining moments like these. Reminded me of Call of Duty campaigns which moments like these are what makes them so good

this was legitimately one of me dreams except it was a ski lift that broke and i was somehow strapped to the ski lift and it started started flying around and i guess there was a brown bear wandering around on the ground
