I got the impression that Sulian took care of Consort Zhe following Madam Fuca's instructions that she needed to think for and protect Langhua in doing things that Langhua would not think of for herself. I have never been fully convinced that Langhua did that one.

He took off the bracelet but didn't admit what the empress did. I swear, this guy absolutely refused to take accountability for anything he did. And continously turned a blind eye to empress' evil deeds. So annoying. When he asked about scheming against him Ruyi should have asked if he would bully or try to harm her. When Empress asked about that d@mn bracelet Suoxin looked at her as if to say _you b*tch_.

He brought it up to the Empress when she was dying but didn't acknowledge the Empress's (more accurately her maids) evil deeds so it "would not put a black stain on his reign".
