WHEN THE GUNPOWDER TEA HITS RIGHT - QF 3.7 RAM in War Thunder - OddBawZ

The QF 3.7 RAM in War Thunder is a Rare Event Vehicle for the British Tech Tree. Although, it's actually of Canadian Design.
The QF RAM has an almighty 94mm Cannon with a LOT of kick. This thing will easily batter its way through a whopping 200mm+ of armour and even go through over angled Tiger's and Panthers with ease.
The RAM is built on top of an early Sherman chassis so it has all the mobility of one. The only let down is that the armour is of course very thin and even then it doesn't cover the crew.
One of the most interesting features of this vehicle is that there are 6 crew members but only one of them is not showing any skin outside of the vehicle from the front. Even Larry the drivers head is sticking clean out of the front of the vehicle!

@OddBawZ: A Critique and Comment: 1) Love how there's no off switch for the "external mic" that's hardwired directly to your inner monologue; it's like being inside the brain of someone who's SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER at Wartunder (mispelling intentional) than they themselves are, which is better than a written manual on "How 2 Git Gud@Warthunder". @@universate5332 ahh see i thought you was just being a dick. But the joke was more that it's british and slow and the brits liked to crusade a lot. Cruising is generally a slow speed so cruise-ade. I dunno it seemed funnier at the time but now im starting to think it was just dumb. A side effect of extreme anxiety to question and overthink everything i do into oblivion to the point it makes me feel uncomfortable and I inevitably just end deleting the comment

Your video/commentary style is great. I wouldn't change a thing. Well, I do like the ''first 10" format that Orangefan sometimes does too - because, apparently, it means there's been no cherrypicking and I really get to see how ten games in a row go (which risks bland battles, but I appreciate how it gives a nice unselected view of the action - even if he does drive me potty with his mad ranting about dying when he's obviously taken too many risks!) Regarding the QF Ram, I feel like they recently adjusted the viewing positions so that you're less often staring at your own crew or into your front shield, which is good (when I first got it, peeking over even shallow ridge lines felt impossible).

It's actually a Ram 2. Rams were used as Spaa and command vehicles. This was originally a Spaa gun.

i like stinging nettle tea better. i rememebr one thing about that engine in your plane it was built to produce 1800 hp and come close to 500 mph but the dual prop never truly succeeded.

What happened at the 20.29 minute mark with the QF kill message while he was in his plane? Did that tank shoot with a broken barrel that odd shot before getting in his plane? Or was it a glitch but you hear the firing on the ground and then the QF Ram kill message. It sure wasn't Odd,he was between shots and flying when it happened.?

Actually odd, the ram was a m3 lee.... not a Sherman but close enough, don’t get why the ram is called m4a5 but it was based on the m3 lee....but great vid, I bought this tank some time ago had some bad and some great matches with it I thought that 7 gaijin coins wasn’t a lot for it at the time

Martin Dinner it’s a m3 chassis the grant and lee as the same apart from the turret and the amount of crew, if you research for the ram tank you will find that the ram is a m3 chassis

Yo Odd when you wee talking about the depression of this vehicle it reminded me of a very dark time in my life, I am a survivor of a sever case of online bullying. There is this D level KZfaq star that referred to my mom as a slut which caused me to suffer from sever depression. With a lot of hard work with my therapist I have now be able to watch KZfaq content and am really finding my way again. Thanks for the upload it’s good to get back out there.

I'm sorry, I don't want to complain, but it's not a Sherman chassis. It's a heavily modified ram chassis. It is in it's name, Qf 3.7 RAM.

I've noticed you seem to judge the BR you're playing at by looking at the highest Tank in your team. I don't know if you know this but it is much easier to look at the spawn cost of your Vehicle. For anyone Interested here's a list: Vehicle at: BR BR+1 BR+2 Full Uptier Light 100 90 80 70 Medium 150 130/120 110 100 Heavy 220 190/200 170/180 150 Destroyers 130 110 100 90 AA 90 80 70 70 (This list is from the top of my head, so I apologize upfront if there are some mistakes, but for the most part this list is very accurate for gauging your BR.) Example: You take out your Tiger H1, Pz.IV/70 and a Panther D in your 5.3 line-up. You then look at either Spawn-cost at the beginning of the Battle. Your Tiger costs 190 points(also the other Tanks will cost 110 and 130 points accordingly)? You're shit out of luck because you're playing at 5.7max, get ready for M18-Spam. (For this example BR=5.3, BR+1=5.7, BR+2=6.0, Full Uptier=6.3)

not to burst your bubble but hull break is still as inconsistent as ever, I hull broke and LVT with a fucking 7.62 MG round the other day..... meanwhile hitting an m18 in the engine block with the 122 it just disabled the engine
