Everyone wanted Grogu to go with Luke but at the same time people wanted him to stay with Mando. Which makes this scene the most heartbreaking moment in all of Star Wars.

What do you mean? The only Star Wars movies there are is A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return Of The Jedi. I’m glad the Star Wars franchise has returned though, can’t wait to see future Disney+ shows.

Honestly it's amazing. I'm usually the hyped one on my channel but in our reaction I was in the verge of tears because it's so beautiful. George Lucas said that Star Wars is about family. Not the hamfisted overly complicated sequel trilogy but the real family bonds cultivated and built over time. The lessons are true as Mando has to let Grogu discover and create his own destiny because he can't do it for him.

I still don't know my roommate heard me, but if she did she heard ugly crying, me repeating 'who is it' over and over because I both knew it was him, and couldn't accept that because there was no _way_ they were doing that, and a nearly unintelligible 'like my father before me'. She didn't ask if was ok, but thats alright, she lived with me in the aftermath of Endgame, and I started crying at cheeseburger commercials for weeks after that one. I figure she just didn't want me to tell her about more movies she doesn't watch while crying.

How does anyone cry at the Titanic, Im sure its emotional but that boat should went down way earlier. I went to see a boat sink what the hell was all that other stuff, why are they boning in a car thats not why the Titanic's famous, the papers back then weren't like "Two Teens Bone On Luxury Boat, Windows Got Foggy. Can we PLEASE, FINALLY acknowledge the diversity in the fanbase from the start?! People of all races and genders erupting into joy and tears of happiness in seeing Luke Skywalker, the greatest movie hero of the last 50 years be treated with respect and deference. THAT is what the fans want! Not toxic identity politics shoved down our throats. The original trilogy is timeless because its story is timeless, the sequel trilogy will be hated for a few years and then forgotten because it had a forgettable story and characters.

Yes this! I am an Indian female fan, born in the late '80s. I legit went to see TFA with my hair done up like Princess Leia. I am so done with KK/Disney believing that SW is only for middle-aged white men or something... or... that we (as females) want Mary Sue characters like Rey!

Everyone is balling their eyes out over Grogu going with Luke. When Luke needs to train him to live in the light. Would you rather see Grogu turn to the Dark Side? It's easier, more seductive.

Jt Deleon not necessarily. There's still a way to get him out of the situation where he'd die plus I think even Disney would want to protect their newest icon (Grogu has been able to unite literally everyone and I don't know if Disney has it in them to kill him in that way lol)

Better yet, beyond decanonizing Disney's "sequel trilogy", take Lucasfilm out of Disney's hands; let both Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni continue their Star Wars work independently [or for a better company than Disney].
