2 things hit me hard, the narc knows what they are and he has several people supplying him. Who would want that in their life. I went to a therapist when I first met him and he told me that if I stay with him my life would be a roller coaster.

Yes - he was shocked when I filed for a divorce and went no contact. I suspect that he thought that I was too sweet, kind and timid to ever challenge him! He left many messages (bread crumbs, hoover, etc. etc..) for me through my work, home and my friends. I'm sure that he thought that I would never leave him, and he promised through messages, etc that henceforth he would always "treasure" and love me more. He had 25 years to prove himself!! 25 years later I am fully healed and content. another spot-on video. Thanks so much Andrew. Love to all in this community as you learn from Andrew's education. Narcissist are know for challenging with "what if" hypotheticals. When this happens tell them "I dont worry about "what ifs" I keep focused on "what is".

Our son married her after she "accidentally" became pregnant, had two more kids and was then killed in an automobile accident. After 9 years of his widows strange behavior I figured it out. I didn't call her out on her narcissism but I did call her out on her lies. Her re-writing of our memories. After that she knew we knew and went full blown no contact, telling us that she could no longer trust us with her children. I had made it my life's priority to be the male role model in their lives and she just tore them away from us. Now, we can only hope and pray that when they come of age, the love we poured into them will lead them back into our arms. Grandparents have absolutely no rights in the U.S. in cases like this.

If you have to deal with the narcissist on a regular basis ... always respond to them on your terms, your time. Never respond immediately (there are always exception to any rule but these are just default responses to reach for). Respond the NEXT DAY or later if you can. The narcissist uses emotions to their advantage, the next day they will be behaving on a different emotional level and this tends to give you the advantage.

Wow!! When I was struggling to identify what on earth was going on , I KZfaq’d for help! Boom, this channel was the first I landed on. Within 10 minutes I had all the answers and I knew I was dealing with a narcissist and I knew I was being abused. I suddenly felt relieved that I was no longer alone in this very peculiar relationship. Two weeks later, you’ve guessed it, I was discarded. He knew that I now knew who he was. 12 years together, discarded in a 1 hour conversation one Sundays and the reasons? “You don’t like fishing or motorcycles enough” ????? Laughable I know! What I've come to learn is it was when I started to value myself as a real person, a lovable human being who was created by my creator with such love and thoughtfulness that I learned to value my life and was able to give up the unholy soul ties. The spider webs were removed and I'm experiencing freedom now. I admitted to myself I didn't have a good sense of self caused by a childhood not very nurturing. The discovery of my personhood brought on by revelation from my creator that my creator values my love. Therefore I'm special. Of significance. Now, I can be free. Hi Andrew. I must say, our 5th and final year together, I KNOW HE knew I was onto him. We both seemed to change. There was no WEDDING PLANS, there were no I LOVE YOU talks anymore. We were both bored. FINALLY, after I spent all my money, became physically drained, I realized it was over, so I left him. I left him sitting in a car. He was shocked, I was drained and I left. The narc definitely knows I know as I have told him. We still live in the same house but have sold it (after only being in it 3 months) and waiting on a moving out date. We’ve had many arguments in the 10 1/2 months together because apparently everything is my fault. 🙄. He said he was calling the estate agent (again, but didn’t previously), so I said to do it, the first person to view the house bought it. I think it’s come as a massive shock to him that I didn’t change my mind. I basically just ignore him now and go up to my bedroom and shut the door about 7pm every night, however he is the one running after me bringing me cups of tea, cake or some food. The deed is done, he brought this on himself and I feel no pity for him, he literally brought himself down. 👍 He said I wasn’t smart enough for him, No, I was too damn smart for him. I let him rant with rage and secretly recorded it all for the last 2 months. At the age of 65 he ate himself alive with his childish tantrums. I am something he can never be….HAPPY. ❤️💋❤️.

I told my ex narc gf she had all the characteristics of a narcissist and listed them in bullet points in an email .. it was over in less than 2 weeks .. apparently she now knew I knew and the therapist I was seeing and he had me trick her into seeing him ( he needed her ‘help’ to fix MY problems) told me to get out asap ., I did though I saw the response when I told her she was one .. there was no ‘debate’ from her which was interesting … found freedom but the damage was pretty intense

My ex narc, who I was in a situationship for 2 years just showed up at my house yesterday after 3 and a half months no contact. He didn't even try knocking at first, literally just tried the handle and was going to walk in uninvited. I couldn't believe it, I mean he was just going to stroll inside..luckily I always keep my front door locked. In the end because he kept knocking on, I ended up looking through the blinds and after telling me he wanted to talk I told him that there's nothing to talk about and that I'm not doing this with him anymore. Eventually he drove off. There was many times when I was involved with him that I tried to walk away and everytime I let him back in when he hoovered. This is the first time I've not, I actually refused to listen to the crap and stood my ground. I spent all of yesterday feeling a sense of guilt and wondering if I was too harsh. I never told him I knew he was a narcissist.. I just kind of let him keep acting out and prove to me who he really was. While I was actually learning about narcissism on KZfaq. Of course he called me a narcissist many times and I just played it cool like I didn’t know anything about narcissism. But I thought it was kind of creepy . I don't know how to explain my feelings; but going no contact can feel like you are withdrawing from a drug.; and like any drug to start with its enjoyable and you want more, but as time goes by you have to endure it because you're hooked in an awful situation. I couldn't see see a clear road ahead I felt alone and lost in a Smog filled maze; I couldn't see a way out.... Now that the Smog has cleared (the ex is gone) I have gone thru many waves of emotions that I had bottled up and forgotten about, (like being lost in a maze) I'm working thru stuff and little by little as the days go by I am healing and rediscovering myself again. Yes!!!! The smear campaign was horrid!! I felt SOOOOO betrayed and just shocked that he would be that way to me behind my back. I saw this quote that I lied about him to make people like him and he lied to people about me to make them hate me! It was bizarre and soooo hurtful! I had never felt anything like it

I'm 64 & my Narcissistic ex is loved by my children ( not his - but they consider him their father figure & he's very good to them) & after 8yrs of us being apart with no contact, is now invited to every celebration because my kids wanted me 'get over it' & let him be part of them, he is now trying to get back into my life in a romantic sense. I've completely gotten over him & see him very clearly but my children would love to see us back together. I've told both he & my kids that I'm not in love with him but he's just not accepting it, in fact he doesn't believe anything I say that goes against the narrative he has in his head & tells my kids that he just wants to make me 'happy' & tells them fantasy stories about our fake future together, which ends up making my kids think that I'm being stubborn or thinking I'm being harsh to him when I call him out on different things he says. I'm very happy being on my own & love being my own boss! I'm being strong & staying in my own power but it's a frustrating battle that for sure! Thank you for this channel it has opened my eyes to so much behaviour that I just wrote off & actually enabled. 💖🙏☮

I finally up and embarrased my narc publicly for deception, not keeping his word and ignoring my concerns. He was stunned and said several people asked him if everything was ok. I feel kind of bad, but shouldn't. To my anger and pain, he earlier summed up in one word: 'overthinking'.

My narcissist is my mother and she gives me the silent treatment. Needless to say I don't talk to her very often. But two of my sons live with her so I don't think that I can really go no contact in this case, but so far low contact. I'm not totally sure how to handle it, but one thing's for sure, I've really gotten my emotions and mind right. I don't get nearly as shaken up as I used to by her and I don't look for her approval, nor do I let her manipulate me. So for me, it's been more about controlling my emotions and finding skills to reduce the anxiety associated with that relationship and soothe myself instead of looking for it outside of myself. I really feel that my experience with narcissism has made me question a lot and do some inner work. I'm just not phased by her anymore. And I do keep my distance. As much as I had hoped , in the past, that we could have a better relationship, I've seen the danger she put me in and I take that seriously. That is my experience and I mention it because there are some situations where minimum contact can be done, because not everyone can go 100% no contact. I can't do it because I can't ignore my sons. For me, it's been more about radical acceptance and living my life regardless of circumstances I can't control. If that makes sense.

It can also be dangerous sometimes. Sometimes depending on who they are you might need a restraining order, as they won't take it well if you tell them you are leaving. That is why its best, if possible, to leave quietly if you are living with that type of person as it could be dangerous. Don't let them know you are leaving and try to get your belongings quietly and hopefully they won't be able to find out where you are. Thank you once again Andrew

Correct Andrew, the very best option is to remove oneself from them. Distance yourself from their low vibrational energies, their modus operandi is to keep you and others in their collection as a energy source. Very much like a psychic vampire if you are unaware and allow them to feed off your energies. The symptoms are you find yourself feeling drained, and exhausted. Married to one briefly for 20 months. She pushed quickly to marry and trapped me. I know she’s an alcoholic early but seemed like something more didn’t add up. It was the constant gaslighting. In court she fought to keep her medical records from being known-believe she is a sociopath or psychopath. She screwed her married lawyer to fight me in divorce court. Later found out she roofied me in the marriage to sleep with another man. It takes time to process what you endured.

This sounds familiar. I have an elderly neighbor that told me one of her daughter’s that lives in town doesn’t come by for almost three years. The other daughter lives two miles away and hardly visits her. I used to give this woman rides and when I did at some church dinner she dropped me and I just watched her from a distance and was amazed I was treated like a ghost. Everyone was mich older and I had nothing in common with these people but she just chatted away. She calls me constantly and will mention how she has her friend drive her here and there and pays her money for the rides. I never asked her for money but I went off a few years ago knowing the other female Board Members would tell her and one did. She’ll still call me asking me if I want to go to church and I must admit she’s got a good gig going with the religious blanket to hide under. I’ve come to realize she’s a nasty woman and three other women in my complex have said the same of her. I think she’s poisoned some neighbors against me because she knows I had enough of her games. She’s nosy too like Gladys Kravitz. It certainly is a testament when one daughter has gone AWOL and the other doesn’t visit too long.

She had zero respect for me therefore could never love me. She acted like she changed, but that did not last. It was over and yet she still tried to get $$ from me. Nope! Done!

In my experience the narc inly get more relentless. They definitely don’t disappear. I think people who are at the other end have to take action to limit contact or dip out completely

I deal in the medical field dealing with & intervening for the patient, they are high powered with narcissistic traits that I been lowering myself to ,for a while I been losing myself in their toxic fog to the point I also was losing focus of my healing journey, I thought i was happy but I really wasn't, came home today & thought about everything where i was & where I'm at now, I made the conscious decision to leave & go forward for my own sake & look for a new way to supply for myself , I'm at peace with myself again & am refocusing in my healing journey- I'm now going thru you're past videos to gain more insight if you don't mind, thank you because I consider you as my Instructor- I'm still learning!!💚because I'm not mature enough in all this- Have A Nice Nite🙏

I'm going through a divorce now from a narcissist. we've been together for 21 years and found out about an affair she had in December from an email from the man she had the affair with 2 days before Christmas. It crushed my world. I have moved out and going no contact. But unfortunately I still have to deal with her when it comes to our 12 year old son. We only speak through text when it comes to something about him. She still stands by the door and stares when I pick him up just waiting for me to look at her or say something to her. I refuse. Never realized she was a narcissist until I was gone and took the rose colored glasses off and relived past events. It was so obvious. Spent years of making excuses to myself and being gaslighted constantly. Wouldn't have put together all the pieces if it wasn't for channels like yours and a strong family unit to get me through the dark times. Thank you so much!!! Keep revealing the truth my brother. Oh good one!! Ya I was once blown away by a narc who threw a child like tantrum during a winter storm emergency situation were we needed colder heads to prevail. It was all about him being put out, no care about the rest of the family. Then I was gaslighted by the enablers who I think saw how shocked I was "he just acts out once in a while but we accept and love him regardless, you get use to it" but the vibe was for me to follow suit and put up with the abuse and bull. I'm grey rocking the situation but being hovered by one of them.

I am so fortunate to have been in fabulous therapy for 1 1/2 years after a 40 year narcissistic relationship. Your You Tube is the “icing on the cake”. It appears as though I am “off the radar”, and the narcissist is furious. (I know this man.) Is it awful to say that I am enjoying it????

I know they use the same word/words that other narcs say or said to you. They like to put salt on wounds because they are extensions of other narcs in their lives and it's just a big cycle of dysfunction. There is no empathy or remorse so there cannot be any trust or solutions. Anything you said will become a weapon against you instead of being received with care and understanding. Andrew Thank you and you are always on target. It's been about 6 months NO CONTACT with my only child which has been the hardest thing to do just knowing they do NOT change. Every time I tune into you I get a fresh reflection of how crazy it was. It's so unnatural to ditch your child but it was the only option I had. When my daughter's mask fell off is when she told me she had been doing research on me and how she wanted to have an audit done on me. Wow. She sure loved to use her power and control to manipulate me to her benefit. We got to be grateful they slip. Oh she moved out of State which is very nice. And she used and abused me like a bag lady and not a mom. U n b e l i e v a b l e!

I took inventory of all the narc ppl around me. He now that I know, pretends to have changed and it’s on and off again. I’m not being hovered as much as I was it’s rlly went down. We barely see each other anymore and I answer less and less that is why. Texts calls messages etc. hangout at different places so I do not see him. I keep him blocked he calls no caller ID. But I’ve been doing good. The game is over! I just need him to stay away from Me and anyone I know. I’m scared of any betrayal that could come afterwards.

My narcissist mother knew the gigue was up when I told her she was not credible.

I'm fully educated... watching you, HG Tudor, and Mental Healness... we are separated and I'm playing a dangerous game with the narcissist. We had a son and she is not a good mother at all. I fear for his future, so I started to play her game. She refuses to give me the divorce and even my things back. When I talk about it, she just simulates a faint. Yeah! She is that dramatic. I talked to her about her problem and mine (I'm codependent), but I didn't say the word "narcissism". I told her that I know about all the lies and betrayals (but I don't have any proof) and of course she denied everything. Now she wants to do a birthday party for our kid together in December. I told her that I don't want it. (she started the smear campaign and her family hates me now). I'll do a party for my family and she will do hers. She hated it! Hated to lose control. For sure she thinks that she will convince me until there. We'll see the next chapters...

This is a part of the notion of a " thrill ". Which is the undertaking of being caught ( a sadistic take on " tag, your it "). That becomes a " catch me if you can " concept. Regardless of choice or decision, this definitely is going down the rabbit hole. Even walking away causes a psychological issue for all concerned. Those push-pull dynamics reinforce the trauma between both parties. As both empath and narcissist become engaged in an illusion that threatens both ( not to mention children and loved ones) individuals.

Great video once again. Well towards the end of my relationship with the narcissist , I did give him resistance I was so frustrated and totally defeated mind, body and soul. I just started responding in that way. He would ask me to go to the store, I would say, how about you go instead. I didn't speak to him for a few days and he would come to me and say what's your problem. He went to the store one weekend and came back 2 days later with a new set of clothes. I already knew what that meant but he still tried to get me back. Then one day we were in a situation where we had nowhere to go and live. He got on his phone and then a guy comes in a car and picks him up all he says is I'll be right back. And he didn't, I was alone no friends he took care of that, no family that I could call he took care of that also. I was alone afraid sad hurt . I can't describe the feeling of despair and hurt I felt. I took my last few dollars got drunk and took some pills and luckily a beautiful stranger helped me out found me a place to stay. And this is when I decided to go no contact. 2 days later he was looking for me, he went to my job , he called me I had blocked him left me a voicemail saying how bad he felt etc etc . I almost fell for it , but I remembered that pain I felt in my soul 2 days before and I got angry and ignored him. Been no contact ever since. The hurt is still there but now I use it to remind me of where I never want to be again. Thank you everyone for your kind words, stay strong and continue to heal.

I remember 2 times when I confronted my narc hub about his behavior and he backed off. Otherwise...the fight was on. Once he was telling me how selfish I was...I looked at him and said "your the one that is selfish" and he just walked away. Another time, I put a scripture magnet on the fridge. It said, "Do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God". He thought I was sending a message to him ( which I was not, I just liked the scripture verse) and he started to accuse me. I think he realized he felt accuse by the scripture and he quickly let it go. I don't know why he backed off those 2 times...it was very unusuall. Otherwise...I knew everytime I held a mirror up I was going to be the one to bare the reflection.

People tried to warn me!! And, I didn't listen. The narcs tried to devour me like sharks!! I made it out by the skin of my teeth...

I did call him out time and time again, but he had already made my life a living hell every week for years. After they stole all my money and resources and now broke they finally departed at least for now. It was hell but I’m glad I called him out. He had a vendetta against my car slashed my tires and everything. But you are right don’t call them out it is a living hell but I had enough.
