Tupac’s Mom said Eminem was the only one involved that didn’t want anything from her. In fact, he was the only one who did it all for free. He also hand wrote a beautiful letter to her (talking about Pac’s influence on him in music, and what he meant to him) and did this incredible drawing of Tupac and sent it to her, asking for her blessing to make the track, and that he was honored to do so. She stated publicly, that out of all the people who were involved, his were the only motives that were pure, genuine and only wanting to pay homage not to get something for themselves. Tupac’s Mom loved Eminem. He also did all that and never said he did. It was Pacs Mom that later revealed all this and showed the letter and drawing. To be that good hearted, that respectful, that pure of motive, so humble that he didn’t even announce what he did to gain public praise, well that’s on another level of good intentions.

From what I understand he made them each a beat and gave it to them so that hopefully they would honor all of us with their art on that album And if I'm not mistaken that was the first album they performed on together since all that shit went down between them.. 🤯

Yeah, Eminem is an insanely underrated producer. Aside from producing a significant portion of his own discography, he also produced like 90% of 2Pac's Loyal to the Game album. Practically half of Obie Trice's tracks. Countless 50 Cent Bangers (Many Men, High All The Time, Poor 'Lil Rich, Patienty Waiting, Don't Push Me, I'm Supposed to Die Tonight, Gatman and Robbin', Ski Mask Way...) As well as: - 2Pac - Ghost - Jay-Z - Moment of Clarity & Renegade - Nas - The Cross - G-Unit - My Buddy & I'm So Hood - Lloyd Banks - On Fire - Fat Joe - Lean Back (Remix) - The Game - We Ain't - The Notorious B.I.G.- It Has Been Said - Tony Yayo - Drama Settler - Akon - Smack That - Young Buck - Lose My Mind - Yelawolf - Best Friend / Let's Roll / In This World etc. - Royce da 5'9" - Legendary & so many more.

I've noticed the biggest Em haters typically fall into 1 of 3 lanes. Either (1) They're young and grew up with trap and the new generation of rappers, (2) they used to love him but freaked out and got majorly triggered when he spoke about Trump (no hate if you like Trump, I don't give a shit, just witnessed this happening a lot first hand) and suddenly went from full Stan to saying MGK had the better diss lol, or (3) they genuinely know nothing about hip-hop and have no real stake in the game but hop on whatever hate-bandwagon they can find because they follow people who talk shit about him.

@@chrisstyles5955 I can respect that opinion. I was just talking about the actual "biggest Em haters" though. People who actively hate on him and say his music's trash, in general, as opposed to just not digging his new stuff. I don't consider that hating as much. For example: my cousin, who used to love Em until he commented on Trump in the BET cypher. Now, he won't even listen to his old stuff and considers his music trash now, all from an opinion. I don't bump his newer stuff in the car either (I did with Kamikaze for a bit), but still admire his talent, even today.

This is what haters will never understand about Em & his connection with his fan base. He created a bond early on, whether it was those who were Bullied, had a dead beat dad, addicted mom, toxic relationship etc. Then going through addiction himself & over coming it. His skills as an MC aren't ever questioned, even from haters, it's always "I can't relate" Which is bs.. unless you grew up with a silver spoon in your mouth & had a perfect life, it's impossible to not find a couple things to relate to him about.

I have heard for at least 6 years off and on that Em will produce a full track, or simply produce the beat for various artists without any hype or demands of being praised for it. Heck, some artists have actually admitted that Em basically "gave me the beat" for free simply because he liked them and wanted them to see what they could do with it. Now, I admit, some of these beats are really hit or miss. But the fact that Em would do this on the production side without any fanfare speaks volumes as to how much he really cares about the genre.

And these haters say eminem isn't part of the culture. Gtfoh this dude has been one of the greatest with impact on hip hop period, whether you like his music or not there is no denying his impact, he revived Dr. Dres career, brought us 50 cent/g unit, yelawolf, put Detroit on the map, shined the light on griselda and slaughterhouse and so many other things

Content on your Channel is ahead of the pack. So many have no idea the extent of EMs talent. While l love Dre, I've always thought Dre received a lot of credit for songs EM actually produced 'back in the day'. But he's also produced and written for so many other artists ... he does it quietly, humbly. So many still refer to Renegade as Jay's, but it was actually EMs work. BTW really enjoyed your comparison between how you use to listen to EMs work to how you listen and "HEAR" now ... a lot of us can relate and its great to watch!

He also wrote more of Dre's verses from 2001 than just Forgot About Dre. Check the credits. I won't spoil it. But as a Demi-Stan, this whole anti-Eminem debate has all but destroyed my 30+ year love affair with hip hop. People who hate Eminem always will, there's a lot of music media (chickens in coops) pushing the narrative; why bang my head against a wall?

Ohhh, you didn't know. 😁😁😁 It looks like a lot of y'all in the comments didn't know. I was so hyped when this album came out and not just because of more Pac content and the tribut but because of Em's production. This was right after we got to see him handle a whole album with The Eminem Show. Plus we got some features on it too. He handled it in a classy way and I was proud Em was intrusted and delivered.
