The LEGENDS of the Rap Industry constantly pull his name out of thin air, speak of his skills with respect and have done it for YEARS. For the whole world there are 2 pillars of rap - Bigi and Tupac, but we knew them less (people born in the 90s). For us, those pillars were Eminem and 50 cents. Eminem is known in every corner of the world. He has already written tracks about everything, even the blind will recognize his face - that's how cool he is. Several generations have grown up on it, it has influenced tens of millions of lives around the world. IDGAF what anyone say. I’m 43 this past February and I’ve been listening to hip hop since the 80s. Even before Em dropped infinite and got wit Dre. My top 5 would’ve probably consisted of Nas Jay Big PAC KRS RAKIM. Ever since I heard Slick Rick tell us a children’s story or NWA told us Fuck the Police or PE said Fight the Power. I used to stay up to 5 in the morning to listen to Stretch and Bobbito to hear that underground shit because that how much the music is apart of my life. I love this culture and YES it’s a black culture but Em is as good or better than anybody on that list I just mentioned. I’m a admirer of wordsmiths and lyricist and Ems 🖊️ is on point. The dude put the work in and and gives his elders their flowers. His skin color is irrelevant. He’s up there with all of them. He is.

Dude, I recently started listening to Rakim and Bid Daddy Kane albums, it's crazy see their influence and it's awesome to see them show love to Em. Like I can understand if you're not a fan of his music (everyone has their own taste) but if you have the fucking pioneers giving you flowers... you straight up have undeniable talent, and on top of that, Em showed love and respect to the OGs too, real recognize real.

I love Rakim. Hip hop was and still is the soundtrack to my childhood. Regardless of color, Em has skills and it isn’t just “bitches and hoes,” but reminds me of the first time I heard The Message. The stories about life that I can relate to. The way I was excited about Em is the same way I responded to Kendrick Lamar.

A friend of mine made the best analogy to Eminem. He said, "Eminem is like the Jerry Rice of rap music. He never stops learning the game, constantly perfecting his craft and he's unquestionably a Hall of Fame staple. He's just never settled or 'ok' with where he's at.
