@@richieC1999 disruption node on Sedna is the way to get him bro. His parts drop from the C rotation of drops on the node, which goes A A B C if I recall correctly. To craft his components though, you need level 4 in both Ostron standing and Solaris United I believe in order to craft the refined gems for his bp’s. He was the first frame that I really grinded the game for (because I hadn’t really touched the open worlds yet) and personally he is worth it!

To be fair, in a daily regular mission, it's pretty all-rounded even if you build him tank, good melee speed buff, good defence, good fire rate, good movement speed, Mach rush for a spring burst etc, Gauss is faster in small distances since he jumps a couple of meters from the starting point.

Volt is faster since he can parkour at full speed, reloads faster and hits faster. Gauss is like a degenerate speed user who went full chaotic evil in some sort of deadly speed train who goes straight forward. But still pretty pleasant to use in open maps

So....the thing is: gauss go to 0 to 100 in a press of a button, but volt start slow and becomes faster overtime,who is faster? No buffs with mods: volt With buffs and with mods: Gauss (Archwing can’t keep the pace with Buffed gauss) But who is more efficient? Depends, if you’re running in a map with walls in every 20 meters volt would be more effective. If you’re running in a map without many walls to stop you,gauss would be more effective. But if we’re going to talk about the fastest runner (using all kind of stuff to go faster) Gauss is the fastest (of course it would require more than a whole team to make you reach top speed and eventually make your screen go upside down,literally)

Well, I know the joke and all, but if you get into the physics about it, then kinetic energy inherently involves speed, which is what carries the kinetic energy in the first place.

However, bigger objects have more potential energy, so if you use enough force on them to convert it into kinetic, they will probably have more kinetic energy. But, it will take a lot to apply such force so... You get the point.

I definitely feel like guass should be the fastest frame in and out of running animation because like guass abilities just does not make up for it all the abilities in his kit seem to only be built around be fast so I definitely feel like he should be the fastest then. It’s weird that volt is the fastest but he can also do damage too. It’s kinda making guass irrelevant right now ngl. Volt is not only the fastest but he’s a good damage dealer too. Idk I feel like they should tone volt down a bit or make guass faster and boost guass speed up by alot. Because istg if I wanna a go as someone fast I always pick volt cause he’s the fastest and deals good damage. I never really pick guass unless I just wanna mess around. The kinetic armor is definitely cool but in my opinion I feel like it doesn’t make up for it. His kit also based around using speed and discharging it as damage I think and if that’s the case he should definitely be the fastest to really maximize and synergies his kit. My opinion tho.

gauss is fine as he is, his speed is plenty when you want to rush through the map and you don't want to use archwings which ignore level geometry, his massive acceleration, knock down resistance and ability to rush past enemies make him suitable for more crowded regular mission tilesets with plenty of walls to crash, all while making for a fun to play tank doesn't really need to be faster for practical gameplay, just for dick measuring contests

@@starboiisacrybabybitch2343 because the issue is they’ve been designing warframes for a while now like cod weapons when they use to work like halo ones. To explain what I mean older warframes were more general purpose in their kits but it all came together to make them unique. On paper frost and rhino are both defense and offense frames but they play very differently and have different weaknesses as a result. In a way their like halo weapons, each being THE choice for a given situation. Current frames are like COD weapons, different frames built around the same gimmick or idea (like two shotguns) with less diverse kits. The end result is if a frame is better at that thing or even can just be comparatively good then the frame is pointless. Even if you nerf volt so gauss is faster it won’t matter because volt can still do better damage and move fast.

That’s why guass is underpowered because his kit is so complicated and it works on synergies unlike a lot of frames. Guass basically uses his speed to be what he is while volt doesn’t volt doesn’t need speed to make his full kit work guass does tho. It’s like this, imagine this, imagine rhino had to build up speed just so his armor plating ability can be stronger but can’t cause he’s slow even then if you build rhino around all speed he’s missing out all of the good valuable abilities that make rhino, rhino like the extra armor percentage mod or more health mod because the speed mods are taking up the spaces so at the end you’ll have a decent rhino but not at full potential because you’re gonna try to synergies his kit for better output but his speed is decent to poor but the end results are decent . I’m just saying like a complicated rhino won’t be as good as normal kit rhino because people are going to try to build him to fully like synergies everything and his kit so he’s missing out on valuable mods so I literally have to run around for like a minute just to pop my armor so it can be stronger while normal rhino doesn’t he can just literally pop and be unkilkable/immortal while having all of those goodie health and armor mods. You get it now? And since his build is complicated in this scenario everyone has to build him as a speed, armor and skill frame to fully synergies him which they can’t because that’s too much mods. Current rhino is just literally an armor and skill build he doesn’t need to synergie much so he’s off the bat op unkillable cause all you have to do is literally focus on armor and skill mods nothing else. Get it now?

Yea, but that is not gauss under his own power. That abuses nidus link and all the other boosts in that captura scene where you could get 8 players, where gauss had enough speed to invert the camera upside down due to an fov oversight in the code.

When Gauss came out, he really was the fastest. So fast that they had to nerf him so players would stop smashing into everything because he went to fast for them to react and turn when an obstacle came up. So I don't think DE will ever be re-buffing him...
