Its really working out great for you shooting videos so close to home, Rail Boss. Lots of cargo - I was wondering if that barge crashing into that bridge was going to affect what comes into that port and what you'll be seeing the trains hauling. Time will tell. Roll it!

There's them white ties again at 9:25. I read somewhere they were there to advise the engineer if they had to stop there, stop before the white mark to prevent fouling the signal. I couldn't figure out what they meant until I watched a video the other day. Approaching a diamond, the train was supposed to stop, but he crossed the white line. That made the train that was supposed to go stop. After the train with the right of way stopped for 45 minutes, the conductor walked head and after determining there was no train crossing the diamond, they got permission from the dispatcher to proceed. Don't know if there was a penalty for the train fouling the signal except for having to wait a long time to proceed. It may have something to do with a crossover down the line.
