The concept of consolidating so many English past tenses into 2 main past tenses is more difficult than one might first imagine. When to use passé-composé vs imparfait takes a while to master. This is when paying attention to a native speaker becomes very important. Wonderful lesson, and very well explained. Loving your verb series! 😁😎👍🏻

Writing is the hardest part to learn alone! If you want a cheap way to practice, write a chapter about something everyday and ask ChatGPT to correct it and explain you the rules :)

Madam, a very important question for me. Please tell me, when we can pronounce "d" and "t" as a soft one and a hard one. Because I find them, pronounced by you, mostly as soft one, and sometimes as hard one, it is very similar... or...confusing. please make a video on this topic.

Ms. Dylane: I have questions when I reviewed this course with 1000 words on the example of #32 [Le colis est arrivé mais il était abîmé ]. Is "abîmer" conjugated as imparfait? what are two verbs (arrive & damage) conjugated in this sentence? Thanks.

It’s conjugated in the plus-que-parfait ;) the same as in English, it arrived but it was damaged:)

2:05 "Autrefois, il etait professeur" What I learned in school was that somethings needs to be be added before a noun to determine if its feminine or masculine, like un or une, so why wasn't it il etait un professeur?

It's true for 99.99%, but in some cases we don't add an article. Il était professeur. Je veux devenir actrice. Manger plus de fruits et légumes, etc.

I do. I don't want to get into too much details but I use KZfaq for my work purely as a platform to host my videos. I am very grateful for KZfaq but you never know what can happen. My goal is not to have a big channel, just to have my videos available ;) I do really well without needing to have viral videos. We can talk more about out of the comments if you want ;)

c'est ma lettre, pouvais- vous verifier ? Je suis allé en vacances le mois dernier. c'était trés interessant. j'étais avec mes amis. Nous sommes allés à Manali. La route était trés mauvais. Mais le temps faisait trés froid c'est bien. Nous avons reservé deux chambres pour nous. Les chambres étaient fantastique et le paysage depuis les fenêtres des chambres vraiments belles. Le premier jour, nous sommes restés à la chambre parce que nous avons fatigué . Mais le prochain jours, nous avons visité beaucoup d'endroits. Nous avons fait de la randonée mais ja ne l'ai pas aimé. Le troisième jour, nous avons pris un bain dans la rivière. L'eau de la rivière était trés froid mais nous l'avons aimé. Le dernier jour, nous avons mangé ensemble dans le trés bon restaurant. La nourriture était là est très deliciuse. Aprés le dinêr, nous avons preparé nos valises. Ce voyager is trés proche de mon coeur. À bientôt Efman
