When trains crash! We're doing some cold starts and using the turntable in today's Train Sim World: CSX Heay Haul gameplay.

We're doing the Clear Cut scenario in Train Sim World: CSX Heavy Haul, and luckily the scenario ends up putting us through several instances that teach us more about using the trains, including doing a cold start, messing around in the fuse box, and all the prelminiary set up that comes in before the train actually starts driving. On top of that, we've got to do some crazy track switching in order to get the locomotive from one side of the yard and attached to cars located several tracks over, it's a real pain, but with some persistence we can pull it off.

When you cross a grade crossing you must blow the horn in the sequence "==O=" (= is a long blast, O is a short blast) and ring the bell. (per FRA regulations) You also have to turn on the bell when beginning to move and while doing switching.

A little insight to what the model numbers mean: AC- alternating current for the electric used to power the wheels. 4400: 4,400 horsepower C: C wheel setup, meaning 3 axles per truck. B trucks mean 2 axle. W: stands for wide-cab. The common on today’s locos. The big nose compared to the smaller nose you see on the SD40’s and GP series.

I did this on Peninsula Corridor at full throttle. Waited until about 35 MPH and bailed out. Shockingly it didn't fail me until it detailed near the end of the line despite it missing all my stops and going through several red lights.

You hit the Emergency brake. You locked the train and now it no longer moves in real life, good job😉. (I run trolleys at a Railway Museum. You NEVER hit the Emergency brake unless you NEED to.)

You don't need to change the reverser to 'N' when braking. And yes you are right, the color scheme is the company CSX. Blue/Yellow.

Grey, the engine acts as an electric generator on locomotives of today. It just supplies energy to the electric motors that move the train. The electric motors are what supply the 4400 HP

Gray.... I am a safety guy for a railroad company, and we have a couple of locos that are basically identical to the first locomotive you moved in this one. All interiors are very accurate, all switches are where they show them... even got very accurate engine starting sounds. Really good job by the developer.
