LET VERUM REX BE THE NEXT GAME, I love yozora's fighting style so much and not only do I want to play it, I want to experience it.

Just imagine it: You boot up the game, Square Enix logo, a familiar piano tune starts playing, but it's not Dearly Beloved, it slowly transitions from that to another familiar theme, something you thought was lost forever: Somnus. Those three notes make your heart skip a beat. Then, you see Yozora, sitting in a throne, the memories start flowing. Is this the rebirth of Versus XIII? Did they do it? And then, the logo appears: Kingdom Hearts Versus XIII. You die of hype even before starting the game. Best.

I hope it is the next game. I feel like we should see Yozora’s side of his story leading up to him seeing Sora. We dont know much about him

What if the game was called Kingdom Hearts Verum Rex

I feel like Verum Rex world is where the final battle of kingdom hearts 4 will take place. Kairi will be the main playable character of the next game aqua might have sent Kairi on a quest with Mickey to unlock the power within her also finding about the ancient masters.

Its definitely should be the next big game. I feel there's a whole lot of story to tell with Yozora and his friends. Also I would like to see more of his back story the game or another title. Maybe we get Kingdom Hearts Verum Rex and then we get Kingdom Hears 4 after. I do think Quadratum will be an open world game with a bunch of concepts from KH3, FF7, and FF15 in terms of the action RPG element. I'm very excited for Kingdom Hearts future especially next year.

Verum Rex would be part of Sora and Riku’s storyline in Kingdom Hearts 4.

Feel like it the next big game could be a DDD style like you said. That would be so dope. Yet my mind is saying a game with a BBS fragmentary passage style short story with mickey. And a side game in the style of BBS with the days trio and then finally with a side game with Aqua and kairi. I feel like later on it will all come in a little bundle like final chapter prologue was. ❤️

Whether or not it's gonna be the next game I'd want it to start with Yozora waking up in his car 😌🥤

Personally, i would like to see titles that tells us what the other parties (the Birth by Sleep Trio, the Twilight Gang and the Disney Trio) was up to and how they did on their parts of the search, while Kairi was searching through Memory Lane.

I would love a Verum Rex game, especially one based around Yozora and his friends. However, if this does happen, I think it'll be considered a spin off instead of a mainline game. I have a feeling it's going to be a few years before we see KH4 (I wouldn't complain if I'm wrong though lol), but I could easily see a spin off happening within that time frame.

Kingdom Hearts Two True Kings. Play as Riku and Yozora. The Two True Kings. Riku who was supposed to get the keyblade and Yozora who got the X Blade taken from him... MoM Stole it. Sora "took it back" cause its where it belongs.. which is why Yozora truly looks like Sora. Tbh i think when we look at Yozora we're already looking at MoM.

Personally I think that that most of the Reality 2 story is going to wait until KH4 with Sora as the main character. If there is a Verum Rex prequel showing us in more detail what the problem with Reality 2 is it might show up either before or after that. Most likely after because they are going to wait to make sure we know these new characters enough to make it still feel like a KH game. Kind of like they waited until after KH2 to give us Days. BBS didn't have as much of this problem because they where wielders, as well as the fact that several scenes in the beginning where done to make us see parallels between the Wayfinder and Destiny trios. So even though I could be wrong and we will get a Verum Rex game showing us things like what Yozora really looks like, who is their main villain group, and how did Nameless Star die I really think that it isn't going to happen at lest not yet. I will admit that I am really much more invested with the characters that are still in Reality KH. After all with their strongest wielders away and a group of villains they have no idea about on their doorstep this is really the best time to make a move. Most of my theories are about what is happening or about to happen in Reality KH simply because I have been able to give it more thought without having to grasp at straws. So wanting a Kairi game where she has to deal with the what it means to be a Princess of Heart, or an Aqua game where she has to deal with the Realm of Darkness and her experiences, or a Roxas game where he has to deal with the foretellers taking over Twilight Town. I could even see it being all one game or several smaller ones, I just have those three pointed out because they where playable in Remind so they are the most likely to be main characters in the games closer to us. All in all I am willing to have either a Sora and Riku in Reality 2 game, or Reality KH game focusing on everyone else trying and most likely failing to stop the foretellers game first. I want them both to happen and I want them to both happen before Sora is able to interact with the characters in Reality KH again. I want it to be very clear to him that abusing the power of waking and tearing a hole in time was not a good thing to do and gives very bad consequences that are not worth doing something like that again. To do this I really want Reality KH to be a mess when he returns, it to be very hard for Riku to save him, and for there to be a few consequences that he is going to have to live with for the rest of his life. So yeah I don't really know the order that I want these games but there are several things that I want to happen before Sora is about to meet with the other characters. That said in the idea that I have for the KH4/Vermus Rex game I do have Sora and Riku getting back to Reality KH at the end only to have no one there waiting for them. So that game could come first, so long as the other games about what happened while they where away happen before Sora's story continues. I do think that both games maybe even a few more are being worked on right now, and which one comes out first is really a matter on which one is close to finish by the end of the year. I really don't think it matters yet which one is told to us first. As for this Mickey having his own game/movie idea. I don't think that it is going to happen, and I don't want it to. Mickey has always gone on this own adventure that our characters can sometimes see but we have never followed him. And it works really well like that. I do love the character, I even like the flaws that they put into him. However without the original cast he just wouldn't hold a full game and unless the original cast he was sharing a story with are non combaters like Namine I would most likely rather play as the other characters most if not all the time. If they do a KH game with Mickey as the main character I would play it after all it is KH, it might even be a whole lot better then I fear it will be. However until I see it, it's not something that I have high hopes for.

With Yozora quoting the first words that we ever heard from Sora. Could of been all this time just a hint Yozora at being the main protagonist of the beginning of the second phase til Sora's return. If Verum Rex does become reality in the future I see the name being Kingdom Hearts: Verum Rex to cause less confusion. Especially for the new fans that were introduced to the series with KH3 or don't follow the lore heavily like we do. Thank God Monster Hunter Rise is coming out to keep me occupied during the wait this year. I'm too thirsty for what next 😭

I definitely see Verum Rex being the next main game we get before getting Kingdom Hearts 4 in 2023! As you said prodigy I think Verum Rex is worthy of being the 20th anniversary game that Square Enix gives to us this year. I can’t see anything else topping this! Plus people who have always wanted Final Fantasy Versus 13 can finally have their wish granted with this reimagining of Nomura’s failed project that never came to life ! This is his chance to tell his story that he never got to tell! Plus with the way Remind ended pretty much set up Yozura as the new protagonist of Kingdom Hearts until Riku brings Sora back home from Quadratum!

It's probably more likely we get a Kairi game honestly. The ending could tie into Kairi actually going to Quadratum, with a Verum Rex game then Kingdom Hearts IV.
