I was looking for a comedy skit from you, Michael Jr. Today has been one of those days.. Iam depleted and I need to laugh. Cue the search for Michael Jr Comedy. I saw this and clicked. So glad I did. My husband and I are 11yrs about. I am a sahm. My husband works. We have a bunch of kids. After being told I would NEVER have kids. I feel like we are sinking. I am always doing something. I feel like I HAVE TO ALWAYS BE DOING SOMETHING. It is so draining. There are times my husband tells me, "relax" "sit down" "I'll do it". "You are enough" is a beautiful thing to say. Though we are NOT enough, Jesus Christ is. We have to learn how to rest in grace and peace. Which, personally, is so hard. I don't know how to rest, myself. I always try to make sure my husband is at rest and taken care of. It is my pleasure to serve God by serving my husband (and kids). I feel that as the wife, I am always trying to make sure everyone is fine, relaxed, safe, taken care of, fed, rested, etc. I don't know how to not. There are things I was able to take from this. I appreciate it.

This is amazing. It shows how difficult it is for us to change what we're doing without having our beliefs tested first. When we allow ourselves to become vulnerable then the truth can get into the deepest places in our hearts. Then we can heal by changing our direction with our new truth in our hearts and knowledge to defend against the old truth, old ways of thinking, and old ways of being creeping back in to our lives. John 14:6.

just want to note that my first husband and I shared a bank account, and he cleared it out to take his girlfriend to a new age cult conference in Europe. I had 3 young sons and was pregnant with our daughter. NEVER leave yourself without funds of your own.

But also maybe when she saw her husband not working so hard and she is working so hard there is something called, not wanting to be taken advantage of. Maybe whether she wants to admit it or not, she felt like he was taking advantage of her wealth if I were in her shoes, I would probably be feeling the same way. But since I only got $16 lol I probably have nothing to worry about.

I think she wants to maintain a certain social status and class and working might earn her that, and she is uncomfortable with the fact that she might be funding most parts of the relationship and she wants the man to do that. Women feel uncomfortable paying the bills, the man loves paying the bills in the relationship, but women want "equality". She won't say "we" because she earned the money and won't share it! But if the man earns most of the money, they want him to share his account with them.
@tonybernard9487

I don’t think that is correct, because she comes from a large family , where they had nothing and no permanent parents . So by filling her bank and being social is her business model for mortgages, she is able to bring stability, and knows how it came about by hard work , so now joint accounts then make a new account and only add what your partner adds and keep a separate one for yourself and safety. In case your partner decides he wants to go onto greener pastures , just being real . Lovely couple

Sharing bank accounts with spouse 🤔. Men have been historically been the one in charge of the finances and in charge of the accounts. Some men Lord it over their spouse. Now as for ME, I don't mind AT ALL handing over my paycheck to my wife IF she is RESPONSIBLE & GOOD with numbers (Math). Now if the wife is better than me when it comes to the finances, then by means I'll cheerfully watch and learn as I hand over the check. All i ask is to allow me to have a little $ to purchase me some snacks cuz I'm a snackaholic 😆. As long as the bills are paid along with other responsibilities such as savings etc, I'm cool with it.

I think she worked so hard, because she saw her father who did not work, and he got into drugs, and he became homeless. So she thinks if I don’t work, I will become homeless. I will become a product of my father. I would say in someways I am the same way, but not with work I am not married, because I choose not to be married. Because I don’t want to be a product of either of my parents or now, even my sister, who is now passed away, but my father married three times. None of his marriages were good not any of it was just because of the women he chose to marry, but he also had his wrong. My mother never remarried after the divorce between her and my father. My sister was also married three times and none of her marriages was great. I know I don’t want to go through that. I do not believe in divorce, but I also know I would not tolerate the abuse that my sister went through or that my mother put her partners through. I also will not put up with faithfulness. So the best way to avoid any of that is to remain single. It worked for me for 58 years sometimes it’s lonely, but it’s better than being abused.

She could step back and let that young man be a man and take care of her and him. Right now, she’s being like his mother. She’s not going to be happy because she’s probably materialistic, and she probably doesn’t want to lower her standard of living and has become a workaholic

Well, if they are a Christian couple, the woman can not deny the husband his right because he got big. Is she as slim as she maybe was when they first got married 30 years ago? Is she as attractive as she was then? She can not play that card. If she denies the husband intimacy because he is bigger now, that is absolutely wrong! And as Christian couple, the Bible also says that the couple should NOT deny themselves intimacy EXCEPT it be for a time, with consent, for them to give themselves to prayer, after which they should immediately come together lest they be tempted by the devil for their incontinence(lack of self control). So she is doing the wrong thing. Instead, she can cook healthier meals for the family and encourage and JOIN him in his efforts to lose weight
