@@ItalianoDio- 100% sure, they survive on tips mostly. That’s if they don’t have to split tips. Which is a thing in most restaurants anymore. Meaning all tips go to all workers. It’s so other coworkers get their cut, stopping any pay wage gabs. Cause workers can argue over that and be discouraged to do any other job. I’ve worked in restaurants for 7 years now, done all the jobs. If you dine out, directly tip your cook(s) / prep cooks. They deserve the tip the most. ;)
