For me it was realizing some of the friends I used to look up to because they were always so passionate when we were coming up didn’t really have shit going on, it was just me who was so down and depressed that it made it seem like they were onto to something. Now I look at who they are and where we came from and realize they only got about ten feet away from the start line sprinting, then got gassed and gave up.

I like how Niles doesnt resolve the skits for the audience's comfort. Also the way the vid comes in mid-argument and ends with the main character still processing, gives the effect that we just caught a glimpse of an on-going situation. That gives the characters depth and life. It really makes you hope bro can get back on his flyer grind and start knocking down some hoes.

This definitely hits home. Had to cut off some old pals because I felt they were dragging me down with their immaturity and lack of goals. Soon as I split, I felt like a weight was lifted. I was able to focus more on my goals and started to hit milestones. Its bittersweet in hindsight, but we all have to make a choice for the best someday.

@@SeanDeli Yeah he had no goals or nothing. I tried to help him too but he wouldn’t budge 🤷🏽‍♀️ he was too comfy in the poverty mindset. He had no car, no place, no IDs or bank account (I had to motivate him to get those things and start up his bank account), was hopping from couch to couch. Relying on me to buy groceries and food for him and clothes etc. On top of that he always played video games, (I don’t mind if he plays it here and there, it’s fine but not all day which he was playing all day) it was too much for me. I have my own stuff and I’m established but I had to stop helping him because it started to feel like I was being used and it was one sided. He was mooching off of me. So I had to let him be to do his own thing. Plus he’s 29 years old. I’m 28.
