Yes zhonglis big problem is that he doesnt share his shield until you have c2 and its not even everytime(i think its only after burst.) Its really a shame because i absolutely love to play this character but i also coop a lot

​@@alinee7698 as a C2 zhongli haver with a favonius lance and careful pillar placement you can basically get his burst up even before the cooldown ends

Yeah, that's why I bring c1 Layla to co-op even though her shield might be waay less stronger than Zhongli and break easily, but at least I'm helping my teammates rather than just protecting myself with a thicc shield. 😂 it's just selfish.

Also I think Azdaha has geo resistance too so Zhongli's probably not the best character to use in his domain 😅

No your situation is different. The problem is when someone has multiple well built characters but decides not to use a different one when there's someone else like you who wants to use them too. You don't have to worry about what other ppl think. Just tell them you don't have other characters that are well built and I'm sure 99% of them will understand and switch to someone else :)

Even without communication you should never bring a shield bot c0 Zhongli to co-op. - Can shield-bots deal dmg? No. - Can c0 shield teammate? No. - Can c0 heal? No. The only thing a shield-bot c0 do is 20% res on all dmg, which only happens if you stay close to the enemies, at the expense of everything else. Is communication necessary? Yes. But so is knowing that you have the responsibility to contribute to the co-op. It’s called co-op, not everyone-for-themselves, for a reason. And if anyone should reach out first in this situation, it’s the c0 Zhongli user. Maybe they want to farm his friendship, or is a newbie who has no healer/support/dps decently built and that’s fine. But in that case they need to state that this is a c0 shield-bot and for these reasons they can only use Zhongli and need to be carried so that the others choose their characters accordingly. Heck I once went in with a 20Cr/200Cdmg c1 Heizou and said that I hadn’t been lucky with artifact but wanted to farm his friendship and therefore needed to be carried and my teammates were ok with it too. You just need to ask politely (and maybe pull out your r5 catch c2 zhongli if they refuse)

True. I was hosting one time and someone had a c3 Scara that was lvl 90 the other had c0 Scara at lvl 80. I told the lower lvled person if they could switch. They got mad and starting whining for like a while. So I uh kicked em lol cos they were wasting time and like you said if they don't want to cooperate why co op.

Good point. If they understand the game well then they wouldn't enter a coop bc they could easily beat everything alone. Idk why we look down on people when they need help. I remember when I first joined a coop I'm so scared, I even couldnt manage to say that I only had Ganyu as the most well-built character and i couldn't switch to anyone else, i didnt even have a healer and rely on food. Now I can at least >33 stars Abyss and just bring a dps or Bennett to everywhere to help them

I beg to differ. The main point of playing co-op is having fun and experience something else than grinding alone. Doing the bosses alone is faster most of the time.

Or the c0 shield-bot can ask for help nicely if they can’t contribute to the co-op (it’s called co-op, not everyone-for-themselves, for a reason). It’s okay to not have the most meta characters, or the most meta builds, but they need to state that they need help so others know what to do in that situation. What if the other 2 ppl were newbies who can’t clear this boss alone and yet were trying their best to contribute? In that case isn’t it unfair for a c0 shield-bot who only cares about their own survival/enjoyment to also receive the same reward off of the other two’s efforts? Once again, it’s okay to need help, but you don’t expect people to politely ask if they have the permission to help you. You ask others nicely for help if you need it.

if its a decent amount of damage (comparable to that of a sub dps or higher) id say you could get away with bringing zhongli in if there is someone else bringing a healer or you may want to mention your zhongli is a damage dealer and not c2

Ive done thousands of coop domains and having bad experiences with jerks is few and far between. Don't let those few bad experiences keep you from coop because the good outweighs the bad by a lot.

To be honest I'm a C2 Zhongli user but I'm afraid to tell people that mine is C2 bc - It can be seen as bragging - C2 can only shield when Q, which isn't much of a problem for Zhongli, but I do f up sometimes and not have my Q off cooldown (and I'm extra scared when Hu Tao users are involved)

The issue is azhdaha has 70% geo and 40% phy resis, so those who use him there either r trolling or have 1 brain cell.

That's selfish and it's not fun playing with people like them. also azhada has a huge geo res, they could've atleast brought a healer if they can't afford his c2 or if they're just building friendship exp they could've had just solo azhada.

Hi venti main here, I haven't tried em but did it with atk. 2k atk is average for venti and you could easily reach 3k burst with vv and 1:2 crit. I currently using 2 atk and 2 vv and he did almost 4k burst

I wonder what's ur stats. I have 30k hp, 2007 atk (homa passive, hp less than 50%), 205 cd, 64 cr, and I only hit 97k with his shield shredd only. I spent a year in r/zhonglimains, and from what I've noticed, most like to exaggerate abt their dmg for sm reason.

Dunno about other ppl, but personally I'd rather have someone bring a lv1 character to Azhdaha than bring lv90 C0-1 Zhongli tho...bcs when someone pick Zhongli in Azhdaha, a lot of times, the other ppl will just trust that you have C2 and don't bring any other shielder or healer in...If you just made it clear you want a carry and the team lets you without any toxicity, at least someone else might help bring another healer or shielder in and it might end a lot faster...Just my opinion tho...Not like you can help deal any dmg against boss with 70% geo resistance anyway, so I see no point of bringing Zhongli just so you alone can survive while everyone else dies...

@@J-D-S The thing is, I never had an issue with anyone bringing who they wanna use in domains. I play in Asia server and no one rly gives a shi who you're using. Let's not forget those who don't even read five star cons and stick to C0 all the time. They don't even know that's the "norm" when bringing in Zhongli. Just scrolling down the comments on this video makes me so shocked that other people are so pressed by someone bringing a certain character. But I guess, that's also just my opinion. I guess I'm glad I never been in that situation where I have to change character because someone thinks my character is bad for the domain

4pc tenacity of millelith hp sands, hp goblet, crit rate or hp hat depending on what you lack. go for over 40k hp and 50/100 cr/cd and ~150% er tenacity will buff yourself and your team when zhonglis pillar hits enemies and have some crit rate so his burst does damage.

@@machinegun_ Thank you! A friend told me I should do triple hp since shield bot is better because that way I don’t lose out on dps or something. But I have artifacts saved, just need to get the 4pc of tenacity set for him. So hopefully once I get him I’ll know where I need to work on wether it be crit or er if I’m missing a bit on it

Hi! Not sure who told you shield bot is strong. It is as it sounds. He is a shield bot and does no damage. Once you get him, you can play around with how much HP you need. I’m a terrible player but 30k HP gives me a good enough shield. If you build triple HP, you do lose out on damage, but Zhongli isn’t going to provide a lot of damage to begin with. If you had c2, I’d probably recommend 4pc tenacity HP/HP/Crit rate, favonius lance. Good luck!!
