That Blue and White V6 Stang Street tire may be good enough for a V6 Mustang, I don’t care how much prep you have street tires don’t cut it for anything with decent power trying to throw down a decent 60’ and ET. Except maybe AWD cars.

My 4x4 truck spins all 4 with my crappy all season tires. With the right tires they won’t spin. There’s a boosted 5.0 truck making stupid power and his don’t spin.

RobFRC you haven’t been to a track where the water box gets moved out to the 60ft mark. This was clearly a cheap, test and tune event with lots of people running their street cars on street tires. Looks like a lot of inexperience with pedaling a car, I admit, but some of these cars should not be losing traction like that. My 400whp mustang on street tires didn’t have this problem on a 3k rpm launch...

Here is your answer: ATTESA (the GTR transmission system) is a layout that transfer the power from the engine through a driveshaft to the transmission in the rear. The transmission drives the rear wheels permanently, shifts gears and sends power to the front diff when necessary. GTR is a permanent RWD car with optional FWD. You can visualize the concept with the new M5 that can change modes (RWD or 4WD).

American v8 muscle doesn't necessarily mean its a drag car. Everyone who buys a mustang, camaro, charger, challenger, or corvette thinks they have a drag ready car. All because the manufacturer advertises 700+hp. Horsepower, big engines, loud exhausts dont mean shit without proper tires, shifting skills, It doesn't matter what kind of car it is, it has to ve set up for drag racing. Otherwise it will look like shit just like the rest of these $60,000+ muscle cars.

ranger nation in a lightly modded 1994 Mustang GT 5.0, I outran a newer Challenger Scat Pack at the strip because he couldn’t get out of the hole. After some practice he did much better though.

Prepped track or not, these drivers are clueless. Nearly all of them showed no signs on laying off the throttle despite spinning several meters off the line.
