It never goes away, at 56 with 39 years of snowboarding and mtn biking I am always looking at lines, side hits, transitions etc. I’ve always said “I ride for the passion, not the fashion”

I'm not obsessed at all ! I just only want to talk about old mountainbikes and work on them and look at them and cherish them is all. MTB videos are actually healthy for a person as they have 0 calories and no polyunsaturated fats and are nut free !!

I have to admit, I have a 95 Trek 5500 converted to a single chain ring and 8-speed I used to commute with that I never ride now. I have a 98 Lightspeed hard tail I never ride now, I have a 2005 Trek World Cup full suspension that I never ride now, I have my De Rosa custom built track bike that I never ride now, I have my decomposing Schwinn Stingray that I haven't ridden in 45 years and I can't seem to part with any of them. I have a nice 20 year old Cannondale 6-13 that is great for road rides and my 22 Trek Rail-7 for mountain biking. Between those two I'm set but I keep thinking I might need those some day.

I'm new to the sport at 35, never rode as a kid. Can't bunny hop or manual...I have been late because I got a ride in and I keep looking at stairs and wishing I had my bike so I could ride down them. This video is now my life.
