This is so true. My mum was always fussing and making me food. As I got older, I found it irritating. Then I became a mum, and I had such a draw to feed my family and put a lot of effort into this. I took great joy in providing for them. It was then that the penny dropped and I realised how much love my mum gave me. Thank you, mum.😇

I love it.. no matter how hard my mother is, she always try to give us all the good breakfast, lunch and dinner. I realize it when I live alone, its only my mom that suddenly I remembered, appear out of no where with fruits, snacks, juice or even just coffee and tea.

So touching. Mama cooked until she could no more. She would get up even when she was not feeling well just to cook for her husband and children. We were always ready for her meals. Then came the time that I cooked for her and Daddy. It was My love language to them and especially her. I made her proud when I made a home made dessert dish (one of her specialties) prepared for her relatives visiting from out of town. She was so proud of me. She said that I did better than her. She was such a wonderfully encouraging mother. 🥲 Oh Mama!

Omg this really hit home... when I was living with my parents, I kind of took a lot of what they said and did for granted. But when I left the nest at 19, the harsh reality of life really hit me. I was young and in an area where I only knew one person. The moment I started feeling home sick and realized I couldn't just walk back home really changed how I saw family. Now I always make sure that I at least show my appreciation to my loved ones when they visit. Even three years and a child later. ❤

So true! The 1st 5 years of motherhood, I called and cried to my mother so many “I love you” and “I’m sorry” tears. 😂 I already appreciated her then, but I UNDERSTAND her so much more now.
