Since a body cannot survive without a personality, thus the body automatically creating Furina. Furina didn't get to know anything making her naive and bewildered as "Past Focalor" but, Furina adapt from her surroundings which is human, making her personality leaning towards human more than Focalor(since Focalor alrdy born as oceanid and got turn into human her personality isn't natural as any other human being, it's like only her body is human but her personality is still a divine being). Zhongli had the quest that unlocked Azhdaha. Raiden shogun had the quest that unlocked Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto Nahida had the quest that unlocked Guardian of Apep's Oasis They all either got added in X.5 or X.6. So following this trend would indicate we'd get Furina's second story quest and a new trounce domain in about 3/4 updates.

Focalors mentioned that to fool the Heavenly principles, she couldn't tell Furina the plan, otherwise they (who were looking at Furina thinking she was the actual archon) would've found out about it. Focalors pretty much ended the hydro archon role from what I got, in order to give Neuvillette's power back to him. If that's the case then it means there will never be another hydro archon in Teyvat

That doesn’t make Neuvilette a Hydro Archon because the title of Hydro Archon is no more. No it makes Neuvilette a fully fledged Hydro Dragon Sovereign. After all the original Hydro Dragon Sovereign was not an Archon either. Celestia created the Archon ranks by stealing the Dragon Sovereigns powers. So while the Hydro Archon came to be through the Hydro Sovereigns powers, that doesn’t mean, that the Hydro Sovereign is automatically an Archon.

Otherwise, she would’ve just referred to the death sentence as “executing oneself”, rather than as destruction of the hydro archon’s seat of power. Besides, Neuvillette, being a dragon sovereign, cannot succeed an archon anyways due to logistical reasons. If he has absolute power over hydro, then he would be considered the hydro sovereign, not an archon; if he truly became the hydro archon, then he’d have abandoned the dragon sovereign’s seat of power, which (Assuming a dragon sovereign’s seat of power works in similar fashion to an archon’s) means that he must be dead as you can’t voluntarily stop being an archon (You can relinquish control over the nation like Zhongli/Venti but no one can take their place as they still hold authority over their respective elements given their elemental abilities). Also, the wiki refers to the hydro seat of power as destroyed and the hydro archon as nonexistent, reducing The Seven to six.

She is not "created" she is literally Focalor's human body and soul. Focalors herself is just the divinity, she separated herself and named the human part Furina.

They are debating so much, but furinas situation is that she is the very human version of focalor. I love to think that the “divinity” thats left on focalors body is the divinity’s conciousness and not the true focalor whom wishes she just became a human. I believ that focalor wish to become a true human came true when she became the archon by creating furina. Focalor may have not imported her memories to furina as she wants to furina to have no touch of any divinity.

I mean that is true, technically Furina was the Hydro Archon when Furina and Focalors used to be one but after Focalors split her divinity from Furina’s humanity, Furina has become a human. So she isn’t an Archon anymore after Focalors split herself from Furina.

Not everyone has had the time to play the latest Archon quest yet since it hasn't even gotten to the weekend as of time of writing. Also, there are apparently people that skip dialogue.

She is not though. The Hydro Archon no longer exists and never will, that was the point of the Quest. Her hair doesn't glow because she isn't the one who possesses the highest Authority over her Element. It belongs to Neuvillette. And, by the way, I'm not talking about the Gnosis. The highest Elemental Authority, has been stolen from Dragon Sovereigns and given to Archons. The Gnoses are remains of the third descender. The two are distinctly different from eachother. That's why the other nations' Archons still have glowing hair: the highest Authority over their element is still with them.

His hair glows only when you activate his passive, otherwise it's just normal mode. And another thing, I don't think it is his hair? But I don't know exactly what it is, it's kinda like a horn but bent? 😅😅😅 Also, part of his clothing is glowing too when he activates his passive

Our current playable Furina isn't archon Focalors; she's a human. I've repeated this several times in other sections: think of it Focalors is the oceanid,, and Furina is the mimic creature. Or closer example, if you plant tomatoes by cutting their stems, new plants would still be tomatoes but NOT the original source tomatoes anymore, there's a possibility that they wouldn't look exactly the same or taste the same either, they would probably have different traits.

Furina is just cursed fontainian (oceanid) human, technically she is just like Dainsleif, a human with long life curse.

Brother, she is 100% human now. She "was" not a regular human before, she was focalors "humanlike" part (remember focalors was oceanid before godhood, then just like oceanid could mimic and breed creatures, she was able to make a humanlike part of her). Then focalors died, furina now is a completely separated entity, a true fontainian human being, free of immortal curse and original sins after neuvilette releases all fontainians from sins (furina's included). Then she acquires the vision, something she actually deserves. Now, compared to our playable archons, they already have the elemental power before archonhood, and what we are playing with right now are their vessels, which are not a separated human entity (unlike furina which is a true human with visions). I agree with the fall or archons idea though.

There is a LOT, so it's not really 'short' but a better explanation than those 20 minute videos: There was a prophecy dooming the people of Fontaine to drown in the Promordial setwater, which dissolves them upon contact as their ancestors were, in fact, oceanids turned humans by Egeria (the hydro archon before Focalors). Focalors needed to prevent the prophecy from coming true, so she seperated her divinity from her body, which became Furina while she (the divinity) resided within the Oratrice, being behind the sentences given out. Meanwhile, Furina had to pretend to be her, while actually only being human, because if anyone found out she'd fail and the prophecy come true. This went on for 500 years, until the quest's events. Neuvillette was called into position as the ludex some centuries prior. The most important lore is this; by the end of the quest, the Traveler sets Furina on trial, with the reasoning that she is not the actual Hydro Archon (truth). She fails to argue, this eventually revealed as the truth by the end of the trial. The Oratrice gives out the following verdict: the Hydro Archon shall be punished by the death sentence. Which, is Focalors within the Oratrice, not Furina, although no one knows this. Just as the sentence is about to be carried out, an incident causes the people within the room to have to flee, so only Neuvillette and Furina remain. Focalors steps up, explaining the plan and why everything happened. The way she coordinated things from behind, having Furina play in the front, she managed to fulfill the exact words from the prophecy, in a way that would have no one come to harm (other than Furina 'cause she fucking suffered over the years yk. She still has a human mind, imagine having to act as someone else for 500 years under immense pressure). After a talk with Neuvillette, revealing him to be the hydro dragon (who lost his memories, took on a human form and is the one who had control over the hydro element before the archons rose to power). She trials herself to death, executing herself. Furina lives on as a human. Neuvillette gains back his full power over hydro, making the prophecy naught. A flood happens, but no one dies and everyone in the waves is saved in time. The nation of Fontaine survives. Neuvillette is in power, Furina can be herself, healing from the mental trauma and all is alright, luckily. Hope this is an alright explanation!

Former Hydro Archon, Egeria, against the rules, injected primordial seawater into her civilzation to give them human bodies. Celestia didn't like that and considered it a sin, so it prophecized that Fontaine will be flooded and every Fontainian would be dissolved (possible by touching water containing at least traces of the primordial one) and only the Hydro Archon would remain Focalors, new Hydro Archon, was basically tasked to counter the prophecy. So she did 3 things: she invited the Hydro Dragon Sovereign to be a judge for Fontaine for 500 years, she created the Oratrice Mécanique d'Analyse Cardinale to collect some kind of energy made from people'ssense of justice during trials, pass judgements and redistributing the energy for the people, and she separated her divinity from her body, the latter being Furina, who she told to act like she's the Archon, the former in the Oratrice. Those three things to make Celestia believe the prophecy happens, but she asked Neuvilette to become a judge to pardon the sin (as in, turning the people into real people) after he regained his full power after Focalors suicided (because the power of Archons vome from the elemental Sovereign dragons) and destroyed the Hydro Archon Throne thanks to the energy that was put aside in the Oratrice. Furina didn't even know the entire plan, and couldn't reveal anything to anyone, during 500 years, in fear of the reveal arriving somehow in Celestia's metaphorical ears and Celestia punishing Fontaine once again. I think that's a bit shorter than the other explanation, but not by much, because it's just so long and there are things that have to be explained in detail so you can't cut on those.
