I've found that healthy indifference, not *needing* that other person in my life, not compromising my core values, not giving in to emotional nonsense, and taking the lead - but supporting when required - have generally kept things from going south.

Actually this worked for me. I was not having the power in the relationship for almost 2 years. But I changed my behaviour and showed her that I'm not afraid of walking away from her. Now she respects me a lot and she is like I won't go against your will anymore, you are the most important person to me than anyone. This is the sentence every guy wants to hear from his girl. Do this and your value will be sky high in front of her and happy ending :)

I think this happens because she doesn't like you as much. Hence the gap from this balance in liking makes the guy think, he needs to do more to win her over. But she instead loses respect for the guy. I think this is for the better, because this will filter out the girls who doesn't like you as much. Even if this comes at the cost of emotional pain and rejection.

@@joncarbone No. Because she simply doesn't like you as much. And sees your actions as desperation. If she was adequately attracted to you, she would see such gesture as cute and romantic. Do you think Girls lose respect when Cristano Ronaldo or Zayn malik messages them? Or does things for them.

@@kaberigomes2117Completely incorrect. Some people generally don’t show how they feel in the same way. For example; Avoidant types may seem ‘uninterested’ to the average person. However this is just how they have been taught how to act in a relationship. They don’t see anything wrong with emotional distance or intimacy and actually feel more comfortable being distant because they struggle with expressing themselves. That not to say they don’t on occasion show love, they just struggle generally with it. Yes, she may just be uninterested, but normally there’s more to the equation than that,

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring her back

Been in a situationship with a female worker for the past 3-4 months or so. She has/had feelings and attraction but didn't want a relationship with me. We did hook up twice and were in an in tense talking. When I tried to move forward she got mad again because she told me she isn't about a relationship with me but she doesn't want to lose me. I said to her that I can't stay just friends now and I need to back off. We ain't talking anymore, only professional things in the office. Actually this happened twice now since we met, last time we moved on and became friends but it all came back and got to a higher level.

Never accept a platonic friendship with a person you want more from. It's weak and it's only down to the fact that you believe that if you become friends, one day it may become more. The "relationship" has to be her idea. You lead her into that by hanging out, having fun and hooking up. If you're the one talking about relationships, what are we, where is this going, you're acting feminine which is aa attraction killer. She is actually helping you buy saying she isn't about a relationship because she isn't ready yet. Slow your roll, bro. Don't talk about relationships. Love is fun. Still meet and date other people. I walk away on a 1 year 3 months ldr due to disrespect. Whenever she pulls away i pull away too. I just message her once a week or once in 2 weeks. March 31 after in nc for 40 days i tried to call her twice and she sisn't answer, seems i'm mute or block. 5 days after that i decided to walk away and delete my line app and cleared her name in messenger. The next day she broke up with me via messenger chat. I replied "ok" Didn't beg,plead,chase.

I find the “walk away” advice to be bad, here’s why: I’ve slept with well over 100 women in the last 3 years and I’ve walked away from disrespectful behaviour probably atleast 50 times. Hell I’ve done it 4pr 5 times in the last month. You know how many women “have come crawling back”? 1. Yes just one. Walking away does nothing for you besides preserving some of your dignity. Which is reason enough to do it… but lest stop acting like women are just going to come crawling back. They won’t, if they are hot they have an army of chad simps waiting in the wings to take your place. Women will only chase a man if she sees other women chasing him, or if he has money. In the case of other women… it’s about competition, in the case of money, you’re just the only guy she can get to spend that kind of money on her.
