Where Are The Secret Body Numbers On A 1970 Mopar B-Body? Includes Charger, Sport Satellite, Etc!

Күн бұрынIn this video we show you where the secret hidden body numbers are on a 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite but the numbers are in the same spots for any 1970 Mopar B-Body including Dodge Coronet, 440, 500, Coronet R/T, Super Bee, Charger, Convertible, Plymouth Belvedere, Satellite, Road Runner or GTX. We show where all the VIN numbers are on the car and what it means if the body numbers match the VIN. This Sport Satellite is an excellent candidate to show because it is so original.

I'm 60 years old and didn't realize you could get a Sport Satellite in a 4 door until a year ago. Also that's the first hood mounted turn signals I've seen on a flat hood. Never too old to learn!

my '76 Valiant has a bunch of pieces on it. Low-trim, but had map light, passenger exterior mirror- not ordered, but the original owner got it off Town & Country (N.Seattle) in December of that year. It was one of the last ones they had

Great video. I was aware of the most of this but I had a friend reach out last year with one that really stumped me…and I struggled to find all the information for him. He bought a 1966 Chrysler imperial to restore and it was very complete. The numbers on it were nothing like the standard identification numbers that began sometime in late 1966-early 1967. The cars before that are definitely harder to identify and reference information also

We did a video on a 68 Road runner and it’s probably the same as that Imperial (not 100% sure however). They used spd, VIN model number, then VON for the stampings 1968 and before.

that was kind of a nice satellite...too bad it just wasn't in favor, as a 4 door. if i recall, my 68 barracuda had turn signal lights on its hood...which was kind of unusual...

What about a 69 super bee ? Will the numbers still be found in the same places ?

Most are screwed on but a few plants (for example 1972 Belvidere Plant that made full size Dodge and Plymouths) were riveted.

2 or 4 barrel? M is 2 bbl, P is 4 bbl.
