I don't know if what I'm about to say is common or general knowledge, but it works for me, so here it goes - Balance is key, without it you'll burn out which can lead you to dropping whatever it is you wanna do. You don't have to be motivated all the time. When you're not feeling like doing something, stick to discipline as a backup plan. There's also a "hack", if you're improving in multiple areas - if you're tired doing A, try B or C instead. Or just set yourself time frames for example 1h daily of A, 2h of B etc. Figure out a system that works for you and remember to get some rest. You will improve in the long run.

Damn man, thank you for sharing your experience! These are definitely solid advices! Especially the one with the daily time constrains for each field of life! For example I recorded and edited this video today, didn't eat, didn't exercise, did not do actual work, nothing. That's a pathway to burnout for sure :)
@MK7357-mk2 ай бұрын
@@KyrieQHD I'm not sure if you're joking with that "didn't eat, didn't exercise" part, but hey... whatever works, works :) Forgot to add - nice editing. I'm surprised that you're recording, editing and uploading a video in one day

Well I overreached a bit I guess lol I mean I had one meal near the computer while editing lol Otherwise I wasn't joking Hyperfixation makes wonders

things i know i need to do i try to convince myself i "want" to do them. for example i hate doing dishes, i dont want to do the dishes but i need to do them. well i know i need to do them because i want a clean kitchen, i want an empty sink, therefor i really do want to do the dishes. and then because i "want" to then i can do them. basically gaslighting myself in a good way
@KyrieQHD2 ай бұрын
That is exactly what I was thinking! If it's "I need to do that" my chances of doing the thing are even lower But if it's "I want to do that" it's kinda my decision, and it's better But even better if you can gaslight yourself that you "like it", that's a win right away lol

In my case, "doing what I don't want to do haven't worked for me. And I've forced my self to try to be uncomfortable and being consistent and the results was: I've got exhausted of it and have ended worse than before. But that's my experience, everyone's life is unique.
@KyrieQHD2 ай бұрын
Exactly, that was my point! :) You can force yourself, but if you haven't got motivation, confidence that you can do this, and a real meaningful reason to do the thing every day - you won't last long.

bro, you need to change your channel name... its really hard to find it. atleast add more channel tags like 'kyrie likhodin' and 'kyrie lykodin' etc... the channel never shows up when i search for it in the search bar. also, add more video tags, they'll get your videos more views that they deserve. you're doing so well without them, imagine what you could do with it.
@KyrieQHD2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion man! I was thinking about it I will definitely change it, depending on which direction the channel will go My last name is kind of a mess in terms of how to pronounce and write it in english:) But for now I have little to no views from the search terms related to the name of my channel, so it's fine But I'll think about the name, appreciate it man!
