With decades of quality control software engineering experience, absolutely 100% preventable. CrowdStrike and Microsoft have a lot of explaining to do and the financial impacts are in the billions, lawsuits are likely already in the works. Lessons: Use Apple hardware as their software is superior to Microsoft’s 1980s based software.
