I never knew about their locking toes! I've been in bed at night when i hear it blowing a gale outside and i wondered how all the sparrows and other birds manage out there. I love the garden birds and feed them regularly. A crafty wood pigeon has figured out how to get the seed out of the feeder and because the brambles are producing blackberries now there is purple bird poop everywhere 😊! Thanks for your video!

I was at my parents house a few years ago. They have some woods on their property that was being visited by turkeys. I walked into the woods one fall night and I looked up and there were at least 30 of them all sitting up in the tree tops. I made a noise and they all took off. Had no idea they slept up that high.
