Congratulation on the family. I learned a lot of calligraphy by watching your videos over the last few years. Three years ago my wife and I started a Letters to Santa project in our town. This year alone I use my calligraphy skills to address almost 500 letters to children from Santa. I find myself sending tons of other cards and letters too. I am a 44 year old dad, probably not your typical audience. The only thing I want from this channel is continued happiness and success for our family.

Seriously, (as an American who had 2 kids) maternity leave in the US is a joke. Keep giving us tips and tricks you learn along the way. Caligraphy, layout, watercolor, florals, new ideas and diy's. I love ALL of it.

Holiday/Special occasion cards, envelopes, and crafts. Tips & Tricks. How to write oversized-like letters & words that would take up 1/3 size of regular paper and up to as big as one letter the size of a regular piece of paper. Through all your courses, (even signage course), books, and supplies oversized is my biggest struggle, I can't figure it out.

I knew as soon as I you, that you had some good baby news to share! Congratulations!! I'm a card maker and junk journaler, so I always enjoy anything to do with paper, cards and writing. I like to decorate my envelopes and do send a lot of snail mail. But mostly what I would love to see from you is that you don't put pressure on yourself and that you enjoy your children as they grow up so fast. I know everyone here will be very happy with whenever you have the time to post. When is your baby due? ❤🎨🤗

As far as why I’ve followed these years, it’s your teaching style and how you just make things so accessible. And as far a what would be helpful…flourishes, and re going over how to plan layouts (especially on the fly when you have little time to trial run things.)

We have a love note mail box, when we put a note in, we move our heart magnet into a certain spot on the box prompting us to check inside. Some quick creative little ideas, cards would be fun.

I love calligraphy. I took your SMYD entire semester 2 times. I would love to be able to use this knowledge to get better and to have more challenging things to do with it. Challenging yes, but also easy to produce. I will never be doing this as a career, just for fun and to stay sharp with my skills.

Congratulations on your new little one. I love your floral doodles and all your calligraphy tips. Any journaling/planner tips are also welcome. Ultimately, you only have this time with your little ones once and even though it is kind of cliche, they grow up so fast. Treasure all those little moments because while you watch for the firsts, the lasts sneak up on you. My youngest is 14 now and I wish I would have treasured his last spontaneous hug, etc.

Congratulations on baby #2! I would love to see any helpful hints you have on anything but in particular spacing letters, making bigger sized letters (how do you choose the size of the guidelines) and blending colors together without it looking streaky/foggy.

Wow! 18 month maternity leave is magnificent! Here in US when I had my daughter, moms got 5 weeks if natural childbirth and 6 weeks for a c-section. Hubby got no leave, but took a week of paid vacation. It was not ok! Congrats on your baby news #2! I love all the things you teach.

Especially the online side, I know you have the panic free pricing course which is awesome but any tutorials on the business side of things would be terrific. I learned small pen calligraphy from you a few years ago and have taken your whole set of classes. I then went back and retook the classes using pointed pen (soooooo much easier than starting with pointed pen -- highly recommend!). I would love to see some content on Copperplate Calligraphy/pointed pen. I am using your KZfaq videos to teach a free Introduction to Calligraphy class at our local library this next week. I love your work with calligraphy and your story of how you became a content creator!! You go, Becca!! And congrats on the new little one!!

I would love to see more videos showing the steps you take when you create a calligraphy composition/project. I’m having trouble with spacing, specifically when descenders from the line above run into ascenders from the line below.

Thanks for the update and congrats on expanding motherhood! I bought some Poscas to use in Workshop Week 2024, playing with them and struggling with them and trawling KZfaq for help. I didn't know they made brush pens so would appreciate your take on brush markers filled with acrylic paint... as an update, I mean. I realise you already have some videos on this. Ta

18 months? I thought I was doing well with my first one, when I was able to take 6 months off. Unfortunately, I later switched jobs and when I had my younger daughter, I was only able to take a month off! Thank goodness my mom was around to watch the babies then! You Canadians are lucky. Congrats on the little one, the upcoming one, and I look forward to more calligraphy videos!

However, I would also love to see more about the business of running your entrepreneurial business (well, yours is HUGE) so maybe the running of a small creative business (I have your pricing/signage courses) but would love more...anything from computer software you use to creating a brand to...believing in yourself! Maybe just have you be my personal business coach/cheer leader! 😁

Congratulations! I am pretty new here. I make signs for a music festival - no experience, they just needed someone to do it so I volunteered and the first year did the best I could with the help of my mechanical draftsman (old school) husband. I started your brush calligraphy courses because I thought it would be a good idea to learn how to form the letters properly. Now I am interested in learning how to make them BIG and learn about layout.
