It's kinda funny how this first short is also basically the origin for Foxy's whole visual. Like, apparently, before, he was just a plain red fox with a hook. And yet in this entire episode he got both an eyepatch and ripped fur. The things that make Foxy, Foxy! These accidents and wounds are the kinda stuff that would only be used for a gag and wouldn't stick for the next segment, let alone for more episodes in these sorta cartoons, yet it absolutely did last for the entire series, to the point folks would think he's always been like this.

Man, Fazbear and Friends actually used to be a good series. This episode is actually pretty great compared to what EnchantedMob and Zaminations does nowadays (with all due respect). Imagine if instead of shorts we actually get more episodes like this one. Other than that, this is pretty good.

I’m *loving* this series already. It truly puts the original Fazbear’s gang from FNAF in a whole new light. *We* may see them as *bloodlust animatronics,* but in *their* eyes, they’re *just like* me and you. And this whole series might just *reflect* on that. It shows a new and different side of the animatronics that we’ve *never* seen before. I’m actually getting *used* to this new take on Five Nights At Freddy’s, and I can’t wait for more from Freddy, Foxy, Chica, and Bonnie.

The first episode has so much real life logic checked into the animation. The movements are so realistic other than jiggly body movements. No teleporting, Just everything makes so much more sence

I see this as focusing more on the actual animatronics themselves rather than the souls of the dead children. We get to see more of a fun loving, cheery, and silly side to them since they were originally made for child entertainment
