I support Sheffield United and no other team. I’ve been to Anfield and I was so excited about hearing the Kop and how loud it could be. Hands down the quietest ground I’ve ever been to which was strange as Liverpool won comfortably but after hearing You’ll never walk alone before first and second half begun Liverpool fans were so quiet it was a shock to not hear a loud roar from the stands

I've had a season ticket at Liverpool for 27 years and the atmosphere has gone down and down gradually over the years. Yeah it's still amazing for big European nights etc but it wasn't what it used to be, probably down to the fact there are a lot more prawn sandwich brigade there now and much less locals. Wealthier people from all over the world now get tickets and haven't grown up in the culture. Old trafford is no different and can't match anfield. That said I've only been there twice. One time was around 2009 ish. Man u won 1-0 in the fa cup and Giggs scored a pen after about three minutes ( I think it was Kenny dalglishs first game back as manager) United fans cheered their goal, cheered the final whistle with absolutely nothing inbetween.
