I want this played at my funeral, because I am going to that city! My husband went to be with Jesus December 22 2023, at 8:12pm, I miss him more than life it's self, my life now is full of fiery trials, pain and sorrow, all I want to do is get ready so I can go home too.

This is one of my favourite songs I sang as a child, and I also love to hear my elder sisters and friends sang. It brought back great memories to me, and cause tears to flood my eyes..In this world of sorrow and pain, it's timely reminder that there is a city prepare ny Jesus , so He could come back for His Father's children .. O, what a glorious day that will be .. This song is well arranged and beautifully sang. So heavely and sweet to the ear..however, there are some corrections here that we must think seriously about. This song was written with good intention to bring hope to the hopeless.. and comfort to the sorrowing. And I know millions have been blessed by it. But we must not blind our eyes to truth . A person asks the question why so many dislike, but the reason is some of the words of the song. No one died and gone to any city.. no one dress in white arrays waiting for anyone.. no one is gone to be with Jesus.. and Jesus is not waiting for anyone..we are waiting for Him When a person dies, that person ĝone to sleep in the grave. The life return to the giver, but the flesh or shell shall lie in the grave, where the flesh shall turn dust. Jesus shall return and call us from the graves. We shall recieve new bodies and new names. The bible said, "we shall change from mortal to mortality in the twinkling of an eye." The bible said, the trumpet of God shall sound, and all the dead in Christ shall rise, then caught up with family and friends, then rise to meet Him in the air. And so shall we be with the Lord. Only the holy people shall rise first because without holiness, no one can see the Lord. And if everyone died and gone to that holy city, who Jesus would be coming back for? We must not be ignorant of the truth.satan twist things to fool us. We must study the king James bible ourselves, reading from Genesis to Revelation. Although this is a beautiful, sweet, comforting song..we must look carefully at what we singing. . The bible said Satan transformed into an angel of light to trick us who are ignorant of his devices. We must pray for descernment, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Check the words of every song you sing to see if it's fake or true. God bless you all.

This song was played for a majority of my loved ones funerals 💔 some of who I was really close too.. I miss all of them to this day. It was played for my chapons, moosum, cousins and some of my aunts and uncles.. especially for my one uncle Ernest Chowace. I listen to this so I can feel closer to them. I’m only 21 going on 22 next month and I experienced more death then births in my life.. I even lost my best friend at 7 years old..
