I love these kind of videos! I have only recently gotten into the bjd scene and was so disappointed to see how much they cost. Living in Australia makes it worse as we don't have any companies based here that make dolls, except a couple really expensive art doll makers like Kaye Wiggs. I get excited when I see dolls under $200 but then once I factor in shipping and exchange rate sadly most are out of my price range - even on sale. I would love a Poulpy or Atelier Momoni but damn those prices! Thanks for your videos I really enjoy them!

That first one is actually vinyl too! They're like tiny Dollfie Dreams, I love mine. I also have a Bonbon galaxy doll and they're amazing quality, their body engineering is fantastic.

My first bjd was a doll leaves doll. She is close to ten years old at this point and still beautiful. My older daughter loves the blind box dolls, they go well with her azone collection.

The blind boxes ones with the plastic hair are super cute. I like Doll leaves dolls and I hope to get one very soon.. Thank you for this video, it's very useful..💗

I love my two Doll Leaves dolls, Louis and Yoko, both with company face-ups. Yoko has such a pretty company face-up. She's my little green witch. I'd recommend looking at DollyZone's limited fullset dolls that they are doing. They are part of DollZone, and while I obvious don't have the DollyZone doll I ordered yet, I have a DollZone doll (Rory), who I really like. I think we all know who DollZone are anyway. Little Mushroom Human Ver. and Beast Ver. Fullsets are available until the 30th. Human is $188.10. Beast is $209. Mocha and Cocoa are the newer ones. They are available until Oct. 30th. Then the dolls without face-ups or clothes are not limited and are $132. (Some being $118.80 because they're on sale.) I fell in love with Little Mushroom Human Ver. She is so cute, and I love mushrooms. I don't have any 1/6 clothes since I only have 1/4 dolls, and I'm still shelling a few characters, so I was so happy that I could afford her cute little outfit with the fullset and not have to worry about clothes or wigs until after she finally arrives.

Thank you for this! I'm new to the hobby after stumbling onto Penny's Box by accident, and all I've been able to find is Etsy so far, so I'm glad to have choices. I recently got my first 1/6 doll there but have been wondering if there are better places to shop. There's a BJD convention that is coming to my city in a few months, but the entrance fee just to get into the part with the vendors is $80!! It feels too expensive!

I love these videos, but it makes me too anxious for my next purchase hahaha, I do want an anime type BJD and it has to be MSD scale. it would be great since I just purchased 2 dolls that are 1/3 and I know the space to store these dolls is gonna get cramped if I start to buy like crazy more 1/3 scale. DO NOT GET A FACEUP FROM DOLLECTION, I waited an entire year to get my doll and it still hasn't been sent because of the faceup. Otherwise they are on top of their stuff.

Original? there is an error, a legend, there is ignorance. The BJD doll was invented by a German, Hans Bellmer. His art is in museums. Later, a Japanese man met Bellmer and began producing dolls for commerce. There is no original patent, Bellmer did not insist. It doesn't matter the material: Wood, resin, plastic, every BJD needed to be sculpted at some point. If it has articulated balls, they are all BJD, they are all original. The country of production also does not matter. Some are more artisanal, others less, but all were carved.
