there is a shortage of housing, and what is available is expensive. $1,000 a month for a one-bedroom apt.

@@questprotector are there not dorms available? You don't have to live in an apartment. Most college campuses require that you live ON campus (in a dorm) the first two years anyway.

@@deadlybladesmith3093 You should be fine. I'm enrolled at MSU and if you would like you could live in campus all 4 years. Normally people move off campus after freshman year though. Be smart, budget and maybe get a couple roommates rent isn't as bad as people make it out to be!

@@LivinginBozemanMontana me and my wife are trying to move to Montana and Bozeman is one of the areas we've been looking at, the other was billings Montana but I'm trying to get away from the fast paced city lifestyle. How's the medical in Montana, I have a son with downs syndrome and want to make sure that the medical facilities where we move can accommodate his disability.

i don’t think of bozeman as being diverse- super expensive to live in bozeman we lived there for 30 + years and had to move cuz it got so expensive - sad situation

coeur d'alene is cheaper than bozeman and it is more scenic.

@@questprotector Yea, but Idaho is full and outsiders are no longer welcome. Perhaps if someone wants scenic they should go to Florida.

No we get mostly tropical storm winds although we do have records for hurricane force winds it's rare that it happens what you mostly have to worry about is blizzards or bears :)
