@kc270352 Been to many of those, and they are almost worse than going to a bar. I befriended the organizer of these events. She eventually shut down the group because she was constantly dealing with women complaining that the guts weren't hot enough, did bend over backward to buy drinks, had the nerve to approach etc. She now runs B2B business events and will never go back to hosting singles events

As a resident of Portland, Oregon, let’s not forget the farmers market and the Portland nursery. Recently noticed that woman were checking me out at the farmers market so keep that in mind.

Hey guys,,when the women ask what you do (How much money you make) tell them, "Hey! We're here to network, do yoga, do our karate kicks, would you get with the program!) Because guys, it always ends with the money question.

That works both ways though. I mean, do you really want to be with someone that prioritizes what you do for a living, or how much you make? What kind of relationship would that be?

1: I've been to those, but nothing ever came from it. It was always a "we didn't come here to meet guys/ new friends... etc...just the class" type of attitude. 2: Same as #1 3: Never tried 3 4: Never tried that, but it was similar to the above experiences with local yoga studio 5: Had same experiences as night clubs, only women were very snooty 6: Never tried airport 7: Noting ever came out of home goods,,,too many women with thier husbands 8: Friends tried dance classes and it was made clear that it was only for learning to dance and nothing else. I had similar experiences with improve/acting/stand up classes. 9: Hiking groups sound great on paper, but too many women put their earbuds in and/or say " we didn't come here to meet guys/socialize" when doing introductions. Also, too many people only come only once, so it's very hard to build up the report Apolloniia talks about.

I agree. It's disheartening when you go places expecting to meet someone special, and it's like they didn't get the memo. Fall 9 times, get up 10 times. That's just the way life is. You're not going to meet someone great every time you go out. On the other hand, when you do meet that special person, you probably appreciate it a lot more, recognizing how rare it is.

@111Phoenix777 I agree...it's very disheartening making the effort to go out and socialize/network/expand groups/make new friends and hopefully meet someone and the reward is dealing with people (both men and women) who have no interest in socializing and are very inward looking at a social event

You better get used to this.Improve yourself mentally,physically,and spiritually if the women come,good,if they dont,its still good,you know why? because you will be a better you anyway,and thats all you need.Enjoy your friends,family,and most of all,your life.

Women will cause you to lose focus, discipline, take up your time for the gym and ruin your peace with chaos. Remember, a woman caused the original downfall of man.

Salsa dance events and classes are a goldmine. Shame, because Swing dance is my favorite, but I tell guys .... the girls are in Salsa and Bachata.

If people would follow what the Bible instructs,they would find that right person,but Apollonia doesn't seem to be a believer,she preaches worldly methods on how to find someone.
