Sir Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak were hammered by Sun readers on small boats and the NHS at a showdown election grilling.
The Labour chief and PM took on questions from Political Editor Harry Cole and our very own readers live from Sun HQ in London Bridge.
Both candidates to be PM were pressed on a range of issues - but were particularly put to task on immigration and health.
It comes as the latest polls place support for Sir Keir at 40 per cent, 20 points ahead of rival Mr Sunak.
On small boats the PM claimed illegal migrants are "queuing up in Calais waiting for a Labour government".
He admitted he has not "got the job done" yet on stopping small boats but promised the British public that he has a plan to kick illegal migrants out - while Labour will "release everyone".
Meanwhile, Sir Keir was pressed on his plans to tackle the soaring number of boat crossings.
