I lost my husband on March 26, 2023. As he lay dying, he told his dog Sandy, that he had some 65 years ago, that he was coming home. I asked him if he could see Sandy, and he said Yes, she's waiting for me.

Thank you Carole. It's extremely hard when you lose someone so close. Grief is a completely individual experience for each of us and I don't think anyone can truly understand how we may be feeling. On Monday 11th March it will be 2 years since my wife and I lost our eldest daughter who was taken from us very suddenly. Every day brings us a new challenge and as you know from how you are feeling it's so hard when you miss someone so very much. I wish I could say to you that it gets easier as time passes but in all honesty I haven't yet found that to be the case. If you want unconditional love get a dog. Everytime one of your dogs dies it takes a piece of your soul with them. All dogs go to heaven because it wouldn't be heaven without them

I was okay until I watched this video. God sent a message to me right before I started to watch and listen. For the oddest reason (or shall I say that God told me to) I sat and started speaking the names of all of the babies that have let me live with them. All of you are correct, the pain never goes away. My dogs have always owned my heart. Nothing is as pure as the wag of a tail or that half cup of slobber. I reflect on the time when I felt that they understood me more than any person. In our own final hours, they will be right there helping us to restore our “family”. Blessings to all dog lovers.

I lost my baby last Wednesday and nothing is the same anymore. He was the heart of our home. Everything revolved round him. My husband and I are so heartbroken and feel so lost. This song has me in pieces I lost my baby last Saturday evening because someone purposely swerved to hit him my baby Jack Jack had two front paws off the curb n the rest of him still on curb the monster that did it honked at methrew me two finger dueces and never looked back it broke his neck but he fought hard for 5 hrs plus till I had to let him go and saying goodbye to my entire world is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I am a person who has mental issues and dark depression but 8 months ago my baby Jack Jack choose me and gave me a reason once again. Now I'm at a total empty shell. Pure Hell for Sure

My rescued dog died at 14 years on Thursday night he was rescued as a pup on the side of the road with his siblings he was the last surviving sibling his body gave up with old age 😭😭😭😭 i miss him so much

It’s only been a couple weeks since I had to put my boy to rest. Crying is a daily multiple time thing, including trying to fall asleep. And cry even harder listening to songs like this. The most BEAUTIFUL song which captures the love between a dog and their human. I lost my 4 yr old golden last fall from a complication of Lyme. He was everything to me. I wanted to die with him. A few weeks ago, I had to say good bye to my best boy, who was over 20 years old. He was my heart dog, and I don't know if I will ever get over him. I have two other dogs to give my love to, but it's just not the same without him.

When my dog pass away, it tears me up and it really broke my heart into pieces, I always missing his presence in my house, and I ended up not going outside I'm always in my room where we are always played But I know he's now in a good place , I terrible missing you so badly my Love "SERKAN" I love you always 😊😘 And by the way he died in a Parvo virus 😭😭😭😭😭😭

My wife and myself had Sabrina cremated her ashes are in our family room in a box that we see every day.

Thank u for caring,it's been 7 months,boo was just 11, fought diabetes for 2 yrs ,had his eyesight restored from Dr Brad in NJ,he fought so hard 2 💉 a day of insulin for 23 months,he was doing great,and on 9/3/22 he had a sudden heart attack he pasted instantly, horrible ,he was right next to me,I was preparing his insulin.that picture is how healthy he fought to beat the diabetes,but God wanted him and I couldn't do nothing .we all miss are best friends,there loyalty,there unconditional love,the joy they bring every day on ur worst Day,bless each and every one we all lost,we will see them again.

I've got an altar in my room with the ashes of 15, 2 living w me now and 20 rescues still running in the new good homes I've found for them. I've walked all I've ever had and kept right to the bridge in my arms. My idea of heaven is getting there and being with them all again. This count does not include all those I had as a child, only those I've had since age of 20.

Today I had to say goodbye to the sweetest dog in the world. I knew it was going to be hard, but I am completely broken. It physicaly hurts knowing I won't see her sweet face or pet her soft belly ever again😢 I pray it gets easier.
