Bed heat can apparently put higher than 100c on K1 in slicer ,Lidar comes as an option, K1 can be bought on sale for €400 and in the USA it is sold for an incredible $250.

@@AlexanderSmith600 Some have gotten it at Microcenter with price match and the current $200 off in-store. But even at $350-ish, its still a good buy.

@@petermarkk1408 I own two Prusa and got my K1 for $350 - so cheap "experiment". I installed the updated firmware which allowed me to root the device and run fluidd. Got the upgraded extruder and hotend from Creality, and use it for printing ASA only. It's been printing flawless. Your mileage may vary. but its very mod friendly.

Problems I had should be fixed on newer versions and if you have these problems Bambu Lab will send you new parts to fix it. It's not difficult to change.

X1C bed knobs are not for customer use, thats for factory calibration as far as I know

The bed is calibrated in factory, but it can go inaccurate due various shipping conditions and then you need to do manual leveling using bed knobs. This info I got from Bambu Lab Wiki.

i have k1 and k1 max both printers arrived with badly warped beds, after leveling and bending bed to a better extent k1 is printing pretty much fine where k1 max prints fine at about 60% of build plate if you need to go from edge to edge it takes me 5/10 attempts until i dial settings to compensate warpage, as its auto level is pure shit......
