Ankle Sprain is a very common ankle injury. There is always a confusion in mind of patient about what is the right ankle brace they should wear for a rapid recovery from the injury. we have tried to clarify the doubts in this video . The 2 main ligaments on lateral aspect of the ankle is ATFL(Antero Talofibular Ligament) and CFL (Calcaneofibular Ligament). There are 3 grades of ankle sprain and the type of brace one should wear depends on the grade of injury which has been sustained. A smart way to choose the brace is to quantify the grade of injury you have and choose the brace accordingly.

Hi doctor I m from lucknow..5 days back I met with small accident and my fabula bone fractured from knee joint my doctor treated with KACHA PLASTER and asked me to come after 10 days to replace with the fiber cast..Dr i do not want fiber cast plaster because my skin is very dry in winters..one of my friend working with TYNOR company he suggested this pneumatic walking boot for my injury. Sir, I need your suggestion. Whatever you explained in your last video all the problems are same in my mom. She has ankle sprain with swelling. Doctor did plaster for 10-12 days then after plaster she has black and blue mark on her leg. So, he prescribed some medicine. It passed two months but still after full day of work she got swelling in her ankle and it pains also. What is the solution? Pleas answer, it's a kind request.

Sir, Nameste, meri ankle surjary 2 month phile hui ha, mujhe 9 screw ke sath titanium plate lgai gai ha, isme ek bda screw, Tibia bone me lga ha, shesh 8 screw fibula bone me lge ha, iske opposit side me 2 wier bi lgaye gye ha. me Diabetic peshent hu. mera prashn ha ki ab aage mere implant ko remove krne ki jrurt ha ya nhi. ydi remove kerna pda, to kb krna chaiye.
