That stinks. Jason Day appears to be a fine human being and it's always a delight when I see him off the course. You can bet his mother is the biggest reason for that. I bet she was incredibly proud of him and I know he will miss her terribly. May all of God's love be with him and their family.

I play the ProV1, and I'm not about to change, but once when I got to the course and realized all my balls were sitting on the practice green at home, I got "stuck" buying Bridgestones because they had no ProVs. Found them to be outstanding. I don't mind playing them in the absence of ProVs.

Well Rick after your review I’ve purchased the Kirkland v2 and played once so far in strong winds and really enjoyed the spin it gave but found the extra spin and or it’s larger size knocked more distance off in the windy conditions so I plan to play the v2 in non windy conditions and play seed pro tour on windier days, also the v2 sounds really hard when you give it a good whack but still somehow has great spin property’s, thanks for the content Rick

I play the Tour B RXS. Love the feel off the putter. Primary reason why I switched. But when the price went up it’s just another ball on the market. It was a no brainer before due to the performance and added value. Soon I’m going to test the TP5. I’ve played the 5 proto but never the store ball. Pro v1x still feels harsh off a non insert putter. After playing the Pro V1 and Srixon Z Star XV for what seems like forever! I recently had a session with my club fitter to have my lofts and lies adjusted and asked the fitter as well as my coach if they could also fit my ball. I hit just about EVERY major brand and model over several days and we settled on the Bridgestone B XS. As Rick mentioned, it checked every box for me in terms of feel, sound, and performance (most importantly it put my spin ranges in the perfect ranges all the way through the bag) and go figure the other 2 out of my top 3 were the only others that I got similar results with. I will be playing this ball for the foreseeable future!

I live here in the states I forget what exact Bridgestone ball line I was using but my father gifted a set of 12 to me with the Green Bay packer logos on them that we saw at my local sports store as a 15 year old who’s brand new golf they seemed cool. I didn’t really care about the best brands of ball or clubs just what looked cool.So I used them my whole year 10 and year 12 (covid canceled year 11 and snow canceled year 9 so I only played 2 seasons they lasted my all 35 matches i played I didn’t often loose many golf balls and in those 2 years while my score wasn’t the best averaged low 80s I shot 2 hole In ones and 1 par 5 albatross and 3 eagles in competition so I would say they always game me confidence. Now that I’m graduated while it’s still snowy here in Wisconsin I haven’t been out since early October I’m going to try other golf brands liek pro V1 Tp 5 and chromesofts. I use mostly Calloway golf clubs so I might try the cool little soccer balls.

I'm a big fan of Bridgestone golf balls. My swing speed is moderate, so I play the Tour B Rx. I have tried some of the others, and they are all good. I recently bought a pack of E12 Contact and they are also very good especially at that price point. The one small criticism in general is that the cover isn't as durable as some others; however, they are substantially cheaper than a box of Pro V1. I did find and use one of the new Pro V1 balls recently, it did seem to be more durable than the Bridgestone but it didn't have that nice soft feel, although I did enjoy playing with it. I'll stick with my Bridgestones; they are excellent balls!

I've played the Bridgestone E-6 and E-12 prior to using Srixon. I bought two boxes of Srixon Q-Star tour when they were on sale and have stuck with them. I've found little difference if any in performance but the Srixon feels firmer to me than the Bridgestone and to my eye a brighter white, easier to pick up in the air. I'm getting a little older and that's a real benefit. Both are excellent for my slower swing speed.

For an average golfer like myself who only has a swing speed between 85-90 and only hits the driver around 200 yards, one particular golf ball over another doesnt really make that big a difference. I have tried several different brands and all of them are great and go about the distance for me. Now for those that do have swing speeds over 110 mph, a particular golf ball may make a big difference. Plus being able to spin the balls on the green. So the high end golf balls are for the better golfers, but not for my style of play. I now rely more on my short game to score. thanks for the video. take care. I do find some of these high quality golf balls that end up out of bounds, so I get most of these free by other golfers straying off the golf course.

I've used the majority of premium golf balls (pretty much all but srixon) and have settled on Bridgestone. The main reason is durability. I can have an 18 hole round and the ball will last before I bin it, which as an unsponsored hacker is important to me. With the ProV I found I was basically binning a ball every five holes more or less because of the way it cut up. I will say that anecdotally from what I've seen on course, the Bridgestone is longer, but I reckon the Titleist is actually a straighter flight

Coming back to the game in the last two years I have been using the BRX and find it to be as good in every way as the ProV at a better price point. On the plus side I like the cover which seem to be brighter and more durable on the spin mills.

Now I'm playing the Vice Pro and Pro Soft. They both had really good numbers in both MGS tests - 2019 and 2021 - although they got no love at all from MGS for some reason. The first Bridgestone ball I purchased was the Tour B RX, and that was about 2 weeks ago. I like them! I can't make a ball backspin on the green but when I hit the green I get one bounce and stop. 2 days ago, hit 8 iron 160, landed 3ft from the pin, and the ball divot was just 1ft from where it stopped. So when this model has pretty good stopping power with irons. Next, I'm going to try the Tour B XS. Off-topic, I also like the Srixion Z Star. It goes far, straight and stops like the B RX.

For me, the ProV1 is the best putting golf ball made. Since I putt more than anything else, that's what I use. I've given away dozens of brand new Callaways won at tournaments because they feel like hitting a marshmallow with a putter. Not sure if these are any less expensive, but I'll give Bridgestone's a roll this season to see what they're all about. Thanks for all of what you do!

I’ve used the B-RXS and I quite like the B logo on the ball. Mix between ProV1 Left Dash and TP5 Pix at the moment. Find the ProV1 is a little better on wear and tear.

I've been playing Bridgestone balls for years and absolutely love them! I hate playing the Pro V1 and Callaway balls don't have the distance and feel of the Bridgestone. If I'm not playing a Bridgestone I'll play the Kirkland balls....similar feel and distance for half the price.

You’ll get used to whatever ball that you play. Just be consistent. I play Callaway Supersoft. They don’t spin as much as the premium balls, but I account for that on my pitches, and chips. I actually like that little bit of extra runout. It’s easier to hole them. I hit full shots pretty high anyway, so it’s not a problem. They still have that ultra soft feel, and I don’t lose any distance with them. Plus, they’re MUCH cheaper. 4hc, by the way.

Played TP5 for the last two seasons but made the switch to the Tour B-XS. Mainly for the spin numbers around the greens. Feels very soft and light. TP5 feels “heavier” in comparison, as if the ball is waterlogged.

I tried the Bridgestone range for a season or so, around 3-4 years ago. Really enjoyed playing the ball and I felt comfortable/confident with it. Gone back to the Pro V1’s due to availability in stores and it’s like putting on a old pair of slippers with reliability/feel. I agree the (B) of Bridgestone aesthetically looks poor, in fact I think it looks cheap and I also agree that the range they have is very confusing. Get some ball fitting Centre’s in the UK and I may go back to them but at this moment I won’t be moving from Titleist.

ProV1 and the Titliest selection I believe is the best. But no joke I think the most underrated golf ball is the Precept Laddie!!! Always served me well from tee to green and the price point is great.

When it comes to the top premium ball for the big ball manufacturers, Titleist, Callaway, Taylormade, Bridgestone, and Srixon, they all have have great products. For the average golfer, Bridgestone makes a great line of options that preform quite well. As someone who works in a golf store, I can tell you first hand, a lot golfers use the wrong ball for their game.

I personally prefer the Callaway chromesoft truvis (soccer ball) I don’t really swing hard so the lower compression rating really helps me. And they feel amazing from the tee to the green

I put some new wedges in the bag 18 months ago and they did not get along with tp5x around the greens. Desperate for something softer I tried for tiger version in I absolutely loved it. It felt better in all departments. Especially on and around the greens. I will not be changing unless they make it better somehow.

Unfortunately, the first real golf ball I started playing with was the Tour b xs and now everything else feels like hitting a frozen golf ball. I Like the distance from the tour b x. But I’ll give up a couple yards to have more touch around the greens. I don’t spin the ball a ton but just feel like I have more distance control in tight. Love the videos and the podcast guys

The love Bridgestone. Asthetically, in particular the look of the dimples set them apart. And of course it performs as well as any other ball

I switched to Bridgestone when Nike stoped making the Tour D balls. It was the closest ball to the Nike Tour D that I found. The current model I am using is the Tour B RX. A few weeks ago I came across several articles/interviews that confirmed Bridgestone was making the Nike balls right up to and excluding the Resin balls. I had not heard of the rumors up until then, but I do know that the feel and performance of the Bridgestone balls matched that of the Nike Tour D when I mad the switch years ago.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Jason and his family, at this point the ball seems secondary, Guy, RX and RXS, BELOW 105 MPH, X and XS, above 105 MPH, also check out Otto, there new ball fitting system, pretty cool stuff. Thanks guys, keep it rolling.

I use Z-Star, ProV1 and TP5 and find them all really similar. Perhaps a better player would notice the difference more. I also like the Wilson DX3 Urethane. The Seed SD-01 and SD-02 are also really good and much cheaper then the main brands. Happy to send you over some for a test if you would like.

Bridgestone are very good indeed. I've tried several types and have not been disappointed. Likewise with Titleist and Taylormade. For me, I love Titleist most but Bridgestone are right up with them.

Played both the Tour B X and Tour B XS. Both are fantastic balls across the board. However, IMO there is one area I found both to be lacking that I hope the 2022 fixes, both the BX and BXS spin 200-300 RPM more off the driver. I think if the new balls solve the driver spin issue and maintain their performance in every other area, the ball will by far be the best ball.
