Thank you for the video. Can't decide which of the two to buy. Already own the A7RV and just sold my older A7C and A7IV. Originally leaning toward A7B II but being influenced by the A7RC a lot lately. Will see. Which is really better in low light?

Depends if you want 4K 60p in full frame or not! A7CII is great, but only gives you 4K 60p in APS-C mode

First, not really a video shooter so I’ve discounted those features. Second looking for a small camera for travel if I do get one. So the same reason had the A7C but liked the new AF capabilities and these are almost the same in that category. Hope this answers everyone question.

Would you say the low light capability of the A7CR matches the current a7c, I use my camera in low light situations with food photography but really want the resolution jump for my hobby side of street and landscape photography

I must say the colors from A7CR look a lot better than A7Cii. I don't like the cyan shifts in blues and yellowish skin colors in A7Cii images.

hey, I have a question for you because I heard that the Sony a7c ii is "more plastic" than the first version a7c, something like the zv e1. Does this only apply to the black version or is the silver version also made of the same material as the black one?

It’s better with the AI chip and autofocus, only downsides are the smaller body (if that’s a downside, one less card slot and the evf)

In some ways yea like overall AF performance, but ergonomically the a74 is built better with 2 sd card slots. You can’t go wrong either camera, but if I had to pick one, I’d go with the A7C2

Which 4K60 output looks better? Because one uses more of the sensor doesn’t necessarily translate to a better video recording.

Lots of youtube videos I have seen seem to conclude that the A7CII is a bit better video camera over the A7CR. I can't confirm that as I only have the A7CR. All I know is that the video from the A7CR is excellent. I would think any vlogger would be more than happy with it.

None. I call these 2 releases by Sony a "missed opportunity". Imagine, cripple 3 previous cameras in a smaller body's and try to brand it as Hybrids!!! Canon R8 would run rings round the 7cii and it is $700 cheaper.
