@thinkbio3794 I use 15 pro max and 80 percent limit ain’t it all for me. I use battery optimized and go full 100. 150 cycles still 100 percent and it’s been 5 months now

I have been using 80% limit since I bought. Current Battery Health : 91%. Cycle Count : 322. I noticed that my battery health decreased a lot compared to my friend who purchased iphone 14 at similar purchase dates. There may be various reasons as I might have used my device more than him as I charged my phone almost 2 times per day as 80% wasn’t sufficient. So I think optimised batteries health is better.

If you charge it past 80% it purposely charges slower to help your battery not die out as fast that’s why it’s not recommended to charge it past 80 but every once and while you should charge it past 80 as your phone battery could die out slowly

I’ve got the 15pro in October 2023 and my battery health has dropped significantly it’s at 96% with 213 cycle count and I use the 80% battery limit what do yall think??

Thats good. for 8 months usage 4% reduce. continue following the same charging practice and that will manage to reach 80% mark around 2.5 years time. have a good day.

@@joshuavillanueva8559 yes. Now I have maximum capacity 98% and cycle count 237. Last 2 weeks the phone was used 6 hours a day on average for apple car play with an ordinary usb cable. I don’t know much about iPhone, this is my 1st iPhone ever…

With 80% limit on sometimes iPhone will charge more than 80 or else sometimes upto 95-100 to calibrate the battery health. Its normal!
