Such a well done video! Love the 2 rankings. CdP makes the most consistently good foundations of any brand! I have everything except for the radiant cream and completely agree with you! The foundation is my favorite, if only it was less expensive 😂😂😂

Super helpful 🙏😊 based on your review I'd like to try the Radiant Matte and the Radiant Cream foundation. My hope would be to have a fair enough shade which likely it won't 😅 The Chanel B10 is too dark for me. I definitely need to check them in store

Haha! I think CDP actually would have a shade fair enough! There shades are QUITE fair in comparison to other brands! ❤

Your recommendations are always spot on. I’m 65. Which Cleu de Peau foundation do recommend for mature skin. I have the cushion and enjoy it.

Lisa, I rank the CdP foundations Exactly as you have. However, I do not like the Matte one at all, but all the others I have ranked the same. Cdp is my holy grail for foundations.

I really appreciate your thorough videos! Did you mention previously that The Foundation runs light? I see that you're O40 in that and O30 in the others, so I'm assuming that's the case.

Awesome! I was hoping you'd do a video on CdP foundations😊. Thanks !! Maybe you could do a favourite eye liner and lip liner overview, as a round up? Or I wonder right now what your fave eyeshadow formulas are overall. Or if there are any brands you generally look out for /new faves vs brands that you no longer are excited about? I think several years ago you might have had different taste in brands or maybe also make up? I watched some older videos from 3 + years back 😊 I don't want to bother 😅but are you still planning to do some make up declutter? I'm very slow in decluttering few things and always looking forward to inspiration and encouragement to reduce my collection

I actually have the pile ready to go and film, but I just need to organize my office first before I film it all...I swear I will do it before the end of this year haha! Thank you for this thorough review! Which do you recommend for really dry skin? I had the matte foundation and it was so drying. I haven't tried any of the others.

If you have super dry skin, I would try the cushion foundation or the radiant cream foundation! Or The Foundation. All these foundations would be suitable for really dry skin! ❤

Hi Lisa, great review! Have you tried Sisley Phyto Hydra teint? Curious on how it compares to The foundation.

Yes, I have! I don't feel like it compares at all, honestly! I do like the Sisley Hydra Teint, but it's a thinner consistency - they both are beautifully blurring, but to me, the CDP is more blurring and longer lasting on the skin - the Sisley foundation is SOOO strongly fragranced, I can't even wear it anymore because the smell is so strong. And, I wish the shade range was more extensive. However, the Sisley is a beautiful product, just not one I would compare the with CDP The foundation! ❤

I have been wanting to try the Radiant natural foundation, I like sheer light skin like look . I have not bought it yet because I wasn't sure of the shade but I think I would go with 040 because O30 look abit to light for by a few shades and nobody around me sells CDP in-store. My favorite complexion product is the Chanel Water fresh tint. LoL barely anything, I'm just not into more coverage these days even if I was I live at the beach in the south and it's so hot and humid nothing would stay on my face in the summer so I don't even bother . Have u tried the VB primer that is another product I have been wanting. I'm just worried about the SPF in it I'm allergic to a lot of US chem filters. Like I bought the TF shade and Light spent a fortune wore it 2 times because it broke my skin out and gave me hives. I felt so cheated because I spent so much couldn't send it back waited to long to try it and it did look beautiful on. I wish they would just leave the SPF out of foundation and tints it makes it so limited for people with allergies and it's such a low number of protection it's like why bother we can put on our own spf.

I don't get the whole SPF being added to makeup, the amount is so small and does absolutely nothing. I fail to understand how brands aren't listening to people and cluing into the fact that we all use a layer of SPF separately. The same would go for fragrance in products, no need for it. Dior Face & Body is really good in the heat if you've never tried it.

The shade is tricky because there is quite a jump between 030 and 040 in CDP! I would always edge towards a lighter shade, because at least then you can bronze the skin if it's a bit too light. I have tried the VB Primer! I do enjoy it, but I don't think it would be a top choice if you have sensitive skin because they have a lot of oils that I think would irritate the skin. For me, if I use the VB primer a few days in a row, I will start to get breakouts from it unfortunately! I agree with you, it's so irritating when you have sensitive skin and companies keep adding in these ingredients that are no use for sensitive skin! The VB primer doesn't have SPF (I don't think), but the other ingredients in it are irritating to my skin!
