Seems peculiar that all the discussion around Jackson and Darcy playing in the same team always hones in on their individual stats rather than the team result. They've won 2 of the 3 games they've played together in, the loss being the Eagles game which looks somewhat anomalous. How about we let them get a few more games under their belts together before we start speculative trade discussions? Freo didn't lock these two down on long term deals by accident, assuming they both stay fit I think we'll see them start to gel over the remainder of the season.

Bit disingenuous claiming Luke Jackson has kicked the same amount of goals with Darcy in the Side vs without. In terms of impacting the scoreboard, he's had 4 goals from 5 shots without Darcy playing (7 games) and 4 goals from 9 shots with Darcy in (3 games). Key point here being the disparity between games with Darcy and without, meaning averages rather than totals should be compared. He's also not massive by ruckman standards, so against the Gawn/Grundy types is as effective at the hit outs, whereas Darcy can wear them down

Judging by the feedback in the comments section and what is said in the actual video. Hodge has had an absolute nightmare with the analysis this week. It’s disappointing these guys (Lloyd Gerard and Kane also serial offenders) don’t at a minimum watch all 9 games live or on replay during each week. That should be the bare minimum requirement to having a high profile media position. Really shows a level of slackness and unprofessionalism that wouldn’t be tolerated inside AFL clubs, so why do they accept this in the media.

What good does taggers do for the game? Why do you want to hinder a players performance each week? Ruins the quality of the game becomes less enjoyable to watch. It's a soft way to win a game

Change the ran too far rule from metres to steps already. If one bloke runs 1 metre per step and one bloke runs 1.8 metres per step how’s that fair in anyway? Plus umpires are already spastic, steps are easier to officiate than metres when they simply call it once a week
