I was just watching the old Trash Taste episode where Joey, Garnt, and Connor were comparing foods from Seven Eleven, Family Mart, and Lawson's. So it feels very surreal just after finishing that watching this 😅

@1:50 It’s also likely many if not most of the stores source their sandwiches from the same suppliers. In such a case each store has a unique recipe and the local factory simply adjusts their production line to match. Things like bread thickness and amount of cream are just settings on machines after all.

That seems pretty expensive to me, at least compared to what I can get locally which IMO is almost equivalent, a pastry called duchess, is a choux pastry instead of bread slices and is filled with cream or custard with fruit on top for about 1,50€ or less.

Do a fried chicken run. My recommendation is a small place in Kyoto called "Loco Chicken" (the one with a T-REX logo if you google it) it has the best fried chicken I've ever had though tbf I haven't eaten much fried chicken in my life. My recommendation is the Garlic Butter. It's food of the Gods I tell you.

Anyone self-employed knows it is healthier to have an office to go to. To not mix private and work life. Mudan, you should test the CocoDesk booths available at a lot of stations. I have seen one at Oshiage, that should be reasonably close to where you live.
