your explaining style is very impressive. i have one problem is that i connected one motor in star connection, name plate showing 230/400 ,0.37 kw,0.65 power factor, 2.6/1.5 A,1400 RPM, insulation class F To the vfd drive while it is running at the low setpoint, motor over heating what could be the reason and how to rectify.

Sir agar 15kw motor delta se star karenge current pabhega hame over size ki relay lagana padega kya?kyun ki 15kw,415v iska current 26A ayega in delta.agar star mein connect karte hai 26A multiply root3 =45Aayega.

Check full load current of motor and calculate ; full load current of motor means current drawn by motor when motor is running at full load.

Starting torque voltage pe depend karta hai. But ye bhi yaad rakhiye ki voltage and current khud hi ek dusre se related hai. 1/3 reduction ki derivation hai. Industries mein is relation ko use karke decision liye jate hai.
