Hindu and Buddhist gods and goddesses have animal heads and snakes for ornaments like in Egypt. And the first Hindus did not burn the dead but they buried them and believed in the immortality of the soul after death. The belief in reincarnation came later.

Allow me to make it very clear...as a born and raised Seychellois I can confirm that our roots are mostly African mixed with French and British who were the first setleers on these islands...the Chinese got here before the indians through spice trade routes. We do have a large Indian community in commerce. But that's about it.
