I'm Ukrainian and visited lots of different countries (almost all Europe, South Africa, Mauritius, Thailand, Turkey, Georgia, Mauritius, Hong Kong) and my favourite country is Iraqi Kurdistan. I was a little bit scary go here (because news show us truth, just scary everyone about Iraq), but I'm so happy to stay here for living. Why I love Kurdistan? It's really freedom here. @@turkishmapper07 You don’t have to comment politically on every conversation about Kurdistan right away. I'm a pacifist and therefore generally against military conflicts in Kurdish areas. The Kurds are humans, you are humans, we are humans. I mentioned in my comment the Kurds, whom I know personally, I cannot say whether other Kurds are nice people, since I don't know them. But I feel honoured to give asylum to refugees from crisis areas in my country, whether they are Kurdish or not.

@ChatNoir You are missing the whole point hence your naive comment. The military conflict is CTEATED by the kurds and you are taking sides. Regarding your "cute" empathy to humanity. Well its cute but solving problems (including kurdish problem in middle east) doesn't need feelings or empathize. It need only an understanding of the situation before you as a foreigner to the middle east starts giving any "opinions" and take sides.

@@genantamtam9364 Just because I'm a foreigner does not mean I'm unfamiliar with the Kurdish conflict. I occupy myself very much with what is happening in the Middle East and have a lot to do with refugees of different nations and ethnicities. It is not true that the Kurds started the military conflict, because there is no such thing as THE Kurds, there are different movements. In special cases, you are right, though. On both sides there are aggressors, hatred that has build up. In addition, the military interference of the US and Russia exacerbates the conflicts. Of course, I have a clear position on this and I'm not neutral, but this is not the point here. I will stick to what I said: I am a parcifist and that has nothing to do with "naivety" , but with reason. The different sides are blinded by hatred, that is the problem, otherwise a diplomatic solution without military conflict would be possible and necessary. And above all, it annoys me that you can’t even use the word “Kurds” without immediately getting into political quarrels, even if it’s only about personal friendships (see: Original comment). That’s the blunt hatred I’m talking about, that's not how you solve problems.

Hey Gus do any of these people that you interview know how cold, dark (before 6pm), and unpredictable a Canadian winter is?!? I’m as far south as you can get in Canada and still gets cold and dark early… Yeah I understand if you live somewhere with zero snow it would be cool to enjoy a partial winter/Christmas in Canada. Otherwise after a while it kinda sucks getting cold, wet and have to pay lots just for clothing to keep you warm outside!

Here in Germany do live many many kurdish people. I made the experience that the most of them really really love germany hard. Some familys of kurdish friends only buy german products they look everytime if its made in Germany. They even only drive german cars because of the quality they say.
