I mean, based off of the like Christian definition of what demons are, yes, but the SMT and Persona demons are a result of the collective unconsciousness, so are therefore reminiscent of human feelings and perception. If you look at it that way, the numbers actually make a lot of sense I think!

Since God created gay people and everything God created is good, demons and the forces of darkness hate gay people, but that won't stop them from manipulating both sides (getting gay people to abandon and hate God and getting false prophets to hate God's children) to gain power and influence.

It makes sense that daemons are homophbic in SMT, since daemons are reflections of the human subconscious and Persona 2 takes place in 1999 where homosexuality was a lot less widely accepted. In a game like Soul Hackers 2, (2055) Strange Journey, (2020) SMT5, (20XX) or the eventual Persona 6 (2028) that take place in the future, daemons would likely be a lot less homophobic.

Oh yes! I've been playing through Reload after not letting myself get spoiled for any of the new/updated things and I was pleasantly surprised by that change (makes it kind of a funny scene now too) And thank you! I feel like it's something that should get discussed more - tbh I could talk about Yosuke in regards to that for a while lmao. I am genuinely curious what they're going to do in Persona 6. I know that there's a difference in progressiveness when it comes to same sex couples in the west versus in Japan (I'm definitely not an expert on that front though), but I think they've come to realize that the games are also popular to western audiences and I'm interested to see if that has an affect on what they decide to include in the games

My guess would be that they'd either combine them or just release them as some sort of bundle. I can't imagine them adding any more actual story on though - everything already wraps up so nicely and with an air of finality about it

@missNekolover91 They're probably both about 30 or 40 hours long, so somewhere between 60 and 80 when put together. And I doubt that they would - it's a very different style of game and I don't think social links would fit into it nor do I think they're super necessary for the story that it tells

He was a homeless starving artist in Munich post-WW1 and had to do homosexual sex work against his will in order to pay for food, which along with the rising fascist sentiments in Munich radicalized him into the monster we now know. Didn't help that both the people who denied him from art school, which contributed to his poverty, and the rich people who he was forced to sell himself to, both so happened to be Jewish, leading to Hitler to delusionally believe that all Jews were out to get him and were "sexual degenerates." He believed that the whole war was a conspiracy so that Jewish people could make the German people poor and enslave them because they were the only ones with wealth post-WW1, which was actually because of their smart investments and lucrative multi-national banking jobs and not some crazy conspiracy. Hitler was not only an anti-semite, but also a crazy conspiracy theorist and radical homophobe because of his negative experiences shaping his world view. If even just one of various factors in Hitler's life was different, WW2 would have never happened and Japan would rule the entire world minus America which would be a theocratic hellhole. Hitler was a false antichrist set up by God in order to steer the worldline away from Japanese world domination, similar to how Cain was set up to kill Abel in order to become the first murderer and martyr.
