Hello, recently I have started watching your videos and found it very helpful. I have an offer from a German company, hence planning to move to in next 2/3 months. Not planning to live for longer. As I understood, the public pension is mandatory with 9.3% contribution from both employees and Employers. Then there are other savings options which you put in categories. I would like to consult you for various matters

1: You can request your letter on the website of the German public pension or wait another year until you receive the next one. 2. You can get pensions additionally to your public pension. Switching from public pension to any other pension is only possible for self-employed people.

Hi, can you access private pensions anywhere? I live in Germany with my husband now and maybe in 10 years we want to move to the US. Do all private insurance pay out anywhere in the world? or do we have to always get a new one every time we move?

It depends on the exact pension plan. With the right type of pension what you're writing is possible. We can help you select that pension in a free meeting: perfinex.de/meeting

Hi dear, We moved from Denmark for a short stay in Germany. We worked 8 months in Germany so Can we claim for the pension which got deducted during our working stay? Is that possible? Please guide us.

It is possible, but very unlikely you will actually get your contributions back (please don't kill the messenger). There is a form on the website of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung that you can send to them.

I am very sorry for your situation & the situation of your mother. Please reach out to the german public pension & ask them why there is a delay. As we have very strict data privacy laws the German public pension will not give any 3rd party information about you (except a lawyer). So we cannot help you here unfortunately.
