The Mesa is only compatible with a few strollers. Mainly Uppababy and Baby Jogger. The VEER wagon is awesome, but does not have the ability to click in a car seat to it. The car seat would just sit in the wagon and would be unsafe for baby. Let us know of any specific questions you have.

Neither the Mesa or the Pipa car currently have adapters; however, the Pipa does fit into the Maxi-Cosi adapters. It is not recommended by Baby Jogger or Nuna to use the adapters & Pipa in this way so we cannot recommend it, but if you are desperate that could be an option for you.

The Nuna Pipa is one of the most compatible infant car seats on the market that we know of. You can get adapters for brands including but not limited to; Baby Jogger, Uppababy, Buggaboo, Stokke, Babyzen, Mamas and Papa etc. The Uppababy Mesa is more limited, you can use the Mesa with Uppababy stroller and there are rumors of Baby Jogger making adapters for the City Select.

Yes! All Nuna Pipa Series car seats are compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista. You will need to purchase an adapter for it :)

Hi Ella, Yes you can install the classic Nuna Pipa on an aircraft without the base, however you cannot install the Pipa Lite on an aircraft without the base.

Finance Project hey there! Have you adjusted the headrest and removed the infant insert? I see a lot of parents have these complaints and sometimes it’s a really easy fix! You want the straps to be at or right below baby’s shoulders so you’ll want to adjust the headrest up until it’s at the proper height for your granddaughter. Also make sure the harness straps are nice and loose before putting baby in, then buckle baby and tighten the straps appropriately (you don’t want to be able to pinch slack in the harness at baby’s shoulder). That should give baby some more room - the Mesa should last even a bigger baby close to a year before they outgrow it by height. Personally, while I do prefer the Pipa over the Mesa, I would not switch infant seats at this point unless the retailer does agree to refund you. If baby’s parents decide that the Mesa really isn’t working out, I would go ahead and upgrade to a convertible car seat because that’ll be usable for several years! They’re safe to use from birth so baby can switch at any time. I love the Britax Boulevard or, if it’s in the budget, the Nuna Rava is also very nice. You do lose the convenience of a click-and-go travel system with a convertible car seat but it will give mom and dad a chance to use that fancy Vista bassinet until baby is big enough for the stroller seat! :) Before you give up on the Mesa, see if you/baby’s parents can visit a CPST in person to get some customized help. @@DatsFamily the Pipa provides a much better fit through the life of the seat- the Mesa causes chin to chest positioning for many newborns and then is outgrown quickly, either by torso height or just practicality (the interior of the seat can be squished for bigger babies). The Pipa provides an excellent newborn fit (regular Pipa is better than Lite versions in this area) and is also roomy and tall enough to last most babies a few months longer than the Mesa would. Also a fan of the load leg on Pipa bases- a compelling safety feature

Correct. You can install the Mesa with a seat belt. You would thread it through the blue belt path indicators on the side. It just doesn't have the European belt route on the back, which makes install with a seat belt safer.

No. Every Nuna Pipa base should certainly have a load leg at the bottom of the base that pops out. I would contact Nuna and let them know immediately if that's not the case.

Hey Ashley, we're sorry your Pipa has been giving you a hard time with the LATCH system! Most car manufacturers try to have standard latches but it's true that it won't always be the right fit. The reason Pipa recommends using a seat belt is that it is actually safer to use a seatbelt installation. And the reason LATCH is talked about so much is because it is supposed to give an easier (but still safe) install to parents who don't know how to properly install with a seat belt. If you're local to Utah we'd love to have you come in and our CPS Techs can help you with the installation, if not you are more than welcome to call our store at (801) 770-0584 and ask for help on installing and we can get a CPS tech on the phone to walk you through it! Leslie Beauregard We talked to one of our CPS techs and she said you should be able to find a configuration that works for proper installation. You may have to use the seat belt for installation and you may need to try it in different positions in the car. Most infant car seats a very user friendly. Hi, you look like you know a bit. I am an European living in Africa. And in Europe you can find newborn carseat that can be attached with a seatbelt, but I cannot find a carseat like Cybex Sirona * from birth to 4 years* which can be attached with the seatbelt of cars. Unfortunately, in Africa car with Isofix is very rare. Do you have any suggestions?

Lazara Cassar you likely won’t find any American CPSTs who are familiar with European/international seats. The standards and the range of products available are very different from the US. If you’re on Facebook, I’d suggest joining a car seat safety group that has international CPSTs so they can make a safe recommendation for you. Try the groups “Car Seat Safety,” “Car Seats for the Littles” and “Car seat safety for the littles”

We haven't heard of many vehicles that don't work? Which vehicle do you have? Typically its just the seat that matters. Most middle seats have a hump and wont work, so in that case you would need to move the car seat to a side seat.

The Baby Cubby I have a Honda Odyssey and recently found out we can NOT use a load leg because it the middle row, the Odyssey has the spare tire storage compartment taking up almost the entire floor, there for it is not considered a solid floor. I was super disappointed considering the Honda Odyssey is such a family vehicle.

Hi Jerrica. That is true that all car seats are required to pass the same safety test but some do get higher scores, we just dont see them since they are not required to publish them. We always like to see car seats include more safety features like; steel frames, EPP foam and other energy absorbing technology to keep your child safer. You are correct that you want to make sure you can install your car seat properly otherwise it is not safe.

The Baby Cubby NHTSA does not certify any seat safer than others. I’m a CPST. They can only give ratings on easy use or easy install. But that’s it. They all have to pass the same crash test standards
