Ha ha. Dang English. Read, Red , Read, Reed. With France Germany and other influences of power on England in the past, the language is messed up. Try teaching English to kids and you realize how messed up it is. Although not sure where , 'about' being pronounced like boat, and 'bagel' being pronounced like bag -el came from. I suspect a conspiracy between Bob, Doug and Tim Horton.
