Which village is the BEST village to live in here in The Villages FL? That question is asked so often that I had to create an episode and offer a tour and my opinion on the subject.

I've recently located in Florida, The Villages, Fl to be exact. I am not the "Normal" Villages, FL resident meaning that I am in my 50's, not retired, and do not own a golf cart. I call myself the "New Villages Florida Demographic"
I love searching for new and exciting things to explore in my new Floridian home.
Since I am Type A and need to be active and I miss cooking. My Florida journey has taken me into the Real Estate and Personal Chef business. Just a bunch of Track homes...doesn't appeal to me. Can't go out kayaking/boating due to the gators. So if you're Not into golfing or tennis what's the point. Too many people..! Thanks for the video...it helped me to make a different decision.

I love your videos. Definitely quality over quantity. If I'm looking for quantity, my go-to people are Skip and The Villages Newcomers. If I'm looking for quality, you are at the top of the list. Fellow Pennsylvania person and I loved your answer about the "best village." That probably would have been mine and I don't even live there (yet). Somewhat surprised you don't play tennis anymore. I hope it's not an injury reason.

Nice drive around The Villages. If I were buying today. I would buy a preowned home with low or no bond north of Lake Sumter Landing.. Hopefully the Villages south of 44 will finally get a Publix and another restaurant or two in 2021. By now there should be enough residents living south of 44 to support these businesses.

Where do the NON-drinkers go? Seems like there is just a lot of eating & drinking & golf- well mainly anyway. Would a non- drinker and a weekend socializer be happy here? What jobs r available in the health & Wellness arena, not working from a home computer but an actual place. 🌺

I do not hang out in the squares but do enjoy the sports especially Pickleball. Became an “addict” in July. There are lots of clubs and activities that are not food & drink related. There are many physicians offices, hospitals, assisted-living memory care facilities in the area finding a job should not be a problem

We also live in Fenney. We prefer Lake Sumter Landing over Brownwood. On the water. More interesting shops and restaurants. To us anyway. Curious what Sawgrass will be like.

From North to South , what village did they start building Patio Villas?

Patio Villas are all over The Villages North and South. There are more Patio Villa Model styles South of 44.

What if a person(s) are into the Equestrian lifestyle and own horses. Is there areas for people into Equestrian life,and enjoy the other activities offered in the Villages.

We don’t have stables to board your horses but there are many equestrian communities in Ocala. We have polo grounds here but that’s for the polo team not for residence in the horses

Any villlage will work. My suggestion is to find a home that you love. Any Village you are located in will be filled with activities and friendly folks. Let me know if I can help you find a home

Because the lots are. For patio and courtyard villas, the lot size is .08 - .09 acre. For single-family residences, it’s about .12 - .14 acre.

@@Robyncavallaro There are homes on Lake Deaton. There are several homes on ponds and water control ponds that have nice views. I the new south area there are going to be some houses on a smaller lake south of Brownwood.

Really I live in a two million dollar home in Iowa and I have one in the Villages and I have a pool and a eagle preserve behind me with a wonderful view. in the Villages and I think my stucco house is really nice looking. They are selling over 4000 homes a year so I like to see a picture of your house and compare it too the two homes I own

Villages is a good place to live if you don’t mind old cranky, privileged people and One of the worst Hospitals in the country. You don’t want to do a business in Lady Lake which is part of the villages they are definitely anti-business , anti-religion and bullies!
